This
unit
introduces
Canada.
The
reading
is
the
first
period
in
this
unit.
It
mainly
centers
on
the
trip
to
Canada
of
two
girls,
Li
Daiyu
and
Liu
Qian
.Following
their
trip
,we
can
know
about
basic
information
of
Canada,
including
its
geographical
position,
area,
landforms,
main
cities,
ecological
environment
and
multiculture.
All
the
way,
we
can
appreciate
the
beautiful
scenery
of
Canada
and
see
many
kinds
of
wildlife.
At
the
same
time,
students
can
broaden
their
horizons.
Of
course,
the
centre
of
this
lesson
is
to
practice
reading,
including
predicting,
skimming,
scanning
and
digesting.
If
Ss
can
learn
the
reading
well,
it
will
be
helpful
to
make
the
Ss
learn
Reading
II
of
this
unit
well.
So
it
plays
an
important
part
in
this
unit.

Senior
one,
they
have
learned

So
they
have
basic

but
they
still
lack

ways
and
skills,
especially

and
careful
reading.
In
my
class,
some
Ss
are
eager
to
learn

active
in
class.
But
most
students
are
weak

English.
They
can’t
express
themselves
in
English.
What’s
worse,
some
of
them
have
no
interest
in
English
and
feel
bored
or
even
sleepy
in
class.
So
I
should
pay
more
attention
to
them
and
try
my
best
to
give
them
confidence.
As
we
know,
students
are

masters

learners
in
class.

will

as

guider,
an
organizer
and

director
who
plays
a
role
when
necessary
in
teaching
procedures.
