it
took
them
only
two
months
to
reach
the
top.
The

woman
to
reach

top
Junko
Tabei
(September
22nd
,1939
–
October20th
,
2016),
was
a
Japanese
mountaineer.
She
was
the
first
woman
to
reach
the
top
of
Mount
Everest.
George
Mallory
(June
18th
,1886
–
June
8th,
1924),
a
British
mountaineer.
He
was
the
first
one
to
try
to
climb
Qomolangma,
he
had
tried
three
times
since
1921.
But
unluckily,
he
ended
up
with
failure
and
got
lost
in
his
third
climb
in
1924.
In
1924,
before
his
third
trying,
a
New
York
Times
reporter
asked,
“
Why
climb
Everest?
”
He
replied,
“
Because
it
is
there.”
And
his
teammates
said
with
excitement,
“Mount
Everest,
you
can
beat
us
once,
twice,
three
times,
but
don’t
forget——
we
will
conquer
