1. Show some stationery and ask some questions:

2. Introduce the stationery by one student:
eg. These felt pens are new.
3. Pair work:

二、The words of musical instruments and the sentences
1. Listen and say
Listen to the tape and answer
Eg. What can you hear Is it the ____

2. Look and say
Show some musical instruments, each student choose one and say sth. about it.

3. Ask and answer with their classmates.

三、The words of preposition (in, on, under, behind, beside, near, between, above, at the top of) and the sentences
1. Game: Find out the object
Invite three students to come out. Have them face the board with their eyes closed for twenty seconds. Invite a different student to choose an object on the teacher’s desk and put it somewhere else in the classroom. The class ask: Where’s ____ The one who finds it tells the other students: It’s _____.
2. Pair work
Play a guessing game with their stationery with their deskmate.

3. Look and say
Put the musical instruments to some positions.
Ask some students to say about it.
Eg. The triangle is ______.
4. Listen, draw and introduce
Take out the paper. Give them 3 minutes to listen and draw their pictures and talk about the picture using prepositions.
Then vote for the best one.

b. 以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节,双写再加ing
(run, dig, sit, swim)
c. 以不发音的e结尾的,去e再加ing.
(write, chase, shake, make, shine)

2) Show small blackboard and ask them to read
the words and the present participle together.

1) Make some phrases with the wprds on the blackboard.

2) According to the pictures the teacher showed,
ask “yes or no” questions:
eg. Is the boy swimming

3) Guess: What’s he /she doing
Ask one student go to the front and do an action, the other
student(turn back) guess:

The whole class answer: Yes,/No.
4) Make some sentences, using the words list.
eg. the birds, fly
The birds are flying.
5) Say the rule of present continuous tense:
主 + be + 现在分词 + 其他
6) Writing:
According to the picture, write a short passage
with present continuous tense.
