Unit 1 How Tall Are You
The Fourth Period
Teaching aims and demands:
Knowledge objects :
1、Enable the Ss understand and grasp the words; longer , bigger thinner, smaller, heavier.
2、 Enable the Ss understand and grasp the four-skilled sentences:
My hair is longer. My head is smaller. My hand is bigger than yours.
Ability objects:
1、能够在情境中运用四会词、四会句子。
2、引导生关注自己身边的人和事,培养学生观察分析的能力。
Emotion objects:
引导学生关注自己身边的人和物,树立正确的人生观。
Teaching importance points:
Enable the Ss understand and grasp the words: longer---shorter, bigger---smaller, thinner--- heavier.
Teaching difficult points:
能够在情境中运用四会词、四会句子。
Teaching aids:
CAI an elastic band balloons cards toys
Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warm—up.
1、 Greeting:
2、 Listen to the chant and say it.
(T shows the chant.)
3、 Let Ss make a new chant and say it.
Step2: Let’s learn.
1、 Learn to the words: bigger smaller
T: we have a match. Do you like Who can try
T: These are balloons.(T shows balloons.) We blow the balloons.
Then T and Ss talk about them.
T: My balloon is bigger than yours.(并引导学生回答)
S: My balloon is smaller than yours.
CAI shows the words, let Ss listen and repeat. Let Ss pay attention to the changing.
2、 Learn to the word: longer
T shows an elastic band and say: This is an elastic band. It’s short.Look carefully: longer, longer ,longer…(教师边拉边说。) 再放短,师再说:shorter, shorter,shorter… Then look at the screen, listen and repeat. Let Ss make a sentence.
3、Learn to the word: heavier thinner
CAI shows two dog pictures.
T: The black dog is thinner. The yellow dog is heavier. How to read the words Listen and repeat. Pay attention to the changing.
T: Can you spell them Then spell them together.(教生共同板书五个单词)
4、 Let Ss open the book, pages 7, listen and repeat.
Step 3: Let’s play games:
T:We have a rest, let’s play games.
1、 Let Ss spell the words.
2、 T shows some words, let Ss say the opposite words .
Step 4: Groups work:
1、T lets Ss talk about their arms, hands, eyes…, and so on.
2、Then ask some students act it.
Step5: Read and do.
Let Ss read and finish.
Step6 : Let’s sing a song.
教师播放音乐,让生听并且跟着唱。
Step7 : Summary.

Step8: Homework.
Survey your classmates, parents or friends, and write them down.

在教学中,我以“创设开放式教学情境,构建体验式教学模式”,以活动课为主,采用任务型教学方法,让学生通过感知、体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的方式实现任务目标,感受成功。教师在活动中只起到一个设计者、组织者、指导者、参与者的作用,大部分时间给学生完成各种任务活动,努力做到“为用而学,在用中学,学了就用”。
