The Vikings
were a group of Scandinavian people who
sailed in ships to attack areas along the
coasts of northern and western Europe
from the 8th to 11th centuries. Eric the Red,
was a Viking explorer who was the first
European in Greenland. He led a group
of colonists(殖民地开拓者) to Greenland
in 986.
