A
Dolphins
are
not
fish.
They
are
mammals
(哺乳动物).
They
live
in
groups
and
speak
to
each
other
in
their
own
language.
But
they
are
quite
different
from
almost
all
land
animals.
Their
brain
(大脑)
is
as
big
as
men’s
and
they
live
a
long
life—at
least
20
or
30
years.
Like
some
animals,
dolphins
use
sounds
to
help
them
find
their
way
around.
They
also
use
these
sounds
to
talk
to
each
other
and
to
help
them
find
food.
They
do
not
use
their
ears
to
receive
sounds,
but
use
the
jaws
(下颚)—
the
lower
part
of
the
mouth.
It
is
strange
that
dolphins
are
friendly
to
men,
and
for
thousands
of
years,
there
are
many
stories
about
dolphins
and
men.
In
the
19th
century,
in
a
dangerous
part
of
the
sea
near
New
Zealand,
there
was
a
dolphin.
The
seamen
liked
him
very
much
and
gave
him
a
very
good
name,
Jack.
From
1871
to
1903,
Jack
met
every
boat
in
the
area
and
showed
it
the
way.
In1903
a
passenger
on
a
boat
with
the
name
of
“The
Penguin”
shot
and
hurt
Jack.
Luckily
the
dolphin
didn’t
die,
and
after
a
long
time
he
was
well
again.
He
guides
the
boats
through
the
area
for
nine
more
years,
but
he
refused
to
help
the
boat
“The
Penguin”.
Today,
some
people
still
kill
dolphins,
but
many
countries
in
the
world
now
protect
them.
In
these
places,
people
are
not
allowed
to
kill
them.
根据短文内容,判断下列句子正误。正确的用“A”表示,不正确的用“B”表示。
(
)1.
Dolphins
are
not
only
fish
but
also
mammals.
(
)2.
Dolphins
use
their
jaws
to
receive
sounds.
(
)3.
Jack
is
a
name
of
a
seaman.
(
)4.
At
last,
Jack
didn’t
help
the
ship
“The
Penguin”
any
more.
(
)5.
Today
all
people
are
protecting
dolphins.
B
Hi,
my
name
is
Joseph
and
there’s
something
I’d
like
to
share
with
you.
My
16-year-old
son,
Dylan,
told
everyone
his
trip
to
South
Africa
last
summer.
It
was
one
of
the
most
amazing
trips
of
his
life.
Most
people
would
think
that
he
was
on
a
vacation
there.
But
Dylan
spent
almost
the
whole
ten
days
of
his
trip
building
houses
for
people
there.
It
was
volunteer
work.
It
was
hard
and
dirty.
I
never
thought
that
he
would
enjoy
it,
but
he
loved
it.
It
is
one
of
the
most
important
things
for
parents
to
encourage
teenagers
to
do
volunteer
work.
And
the
amazing
thing
is,
once
they
get
a
taste
of
it,
teenagers
will
love
to
volunteer.
And
students
who
do
volunteer
work
do
better
in
school
than
those
who
don’t
volunteer.
In
fact,
volunteering
provides
many
things
for
teenagers.
They
can
get
a
wonderful
experience
and
a
good
chance
(机会)
to
meet
new
people.
It’s
not
difficult
to
find
volunteer
jobs
for
teenagers.
They
can
find
them
in
hospitals,
libraries,
children’s
museums
and
so
on.
