教材内容简析
本课时是人教版(pep)小学英语教科书五年级上册的第六单元第二课时，依然围Yes,?there?is.?/No,?there?isn't."这个句型展开内容。包括Let's?learn和Ask
and?answer两个板块。Let's?learn是在第一课时情景对话内容的基础上，主要学习五个重点词汇，以及重点问Yes,?there?is.?/
No,?there?isn?'t.这一部分内容是用一幅自然公园的地图答句型Is?there?a...来呈现几个核心词汇。
Ask?and?answer是在第一部分Let's?learn基础上延伸的活动版块，目的是让学生在熟练掌握新单词的基础上还可以灵活运用句型，根据所画的图画在小组和搭档之间进行问答练习，达到学以致用的好效果。学生要用到本课重点句型“Is?there?a..??Yes,?there?is.?/No,?there?isn't.?"
学生情况分析
学生对于大自然有极大的兴趣，向往田园生活，喜欢田园生活生活，在上一单元中学生已经学过There?be句型，这里教师在教学时需注意加入单词的复数形式，这样学生接受起来比较简单。

由于本节课新授内容比较多，所以笔者根据学生的学情和教材的特点，把教学内容稍做了一些处理，选取了五个单词：lake,
river,
forest,
grass
and
mountain.
这五个单词所设计的是景物，而我国又是一个地大物博的国家，名山、名湖等很多。因此，把教学与地理联系起来，如在教lake时，设计了家乡的青海湖和杭州西湖；教mountain
时，让学生了解当地的4A景区老爷山和五岳之首泰山；教river时，设计了了解长江、黄河，让学生了解并感受祖国山河之壮美，激发学生的爱国情怀。
教学效能
这节课在展示之前，我试教了两次，第一次教的时候先教forest,
mountain
，再教river,
lake，hill后来发觉学生学起来有些吃力，而且文中的文本教学有效性不强，虽然看上去有简短对话，但是对学生没有一个实质的学习的过程。因此经过两次修改，把最简单的单词lake让在前面，在每个单词教授完以后，利用游戏来滚动前面的内容，以新带旧，并以旧引新。在每个活动设计之前，我注意做好示范，如在让学生猜猜森林里有什么的时候，我自己先猜：there
is
a
dog
in
the
forest.这让学生明白自己所要表达的内容同时也了解了这个活动如何去操作。
三、活动设计
小学生活泼好动，如果让他们机械的学习40分钟，那对他们来说是一种折磨。因此，在warm-up中，通过打地鼠游戏，让学生说单词，学生做的开心，教师也复习了关于本节课输入输出的大量单词，达到了事半功倍的效果。在让学生猜猜森林里有什么的时候，教师利用信息差，出示动物的一小部分器官，让学生发挥自己的想象力来猜猜，寓教于乐。巧设评价--在最后一个拓展活动中，教师把这节课的评价设置成了lake,
river,
forest,
hill
and
mountain的小图片，发给表现良好的学生，学生在ask
and
answer
活动时，教师让学生贴出自己的作品，明确呈现出lake,
river,
forest,
hill
and
mountain所在的位置，仿写例文，生成文本。
