一、教材分析:
本单元是PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit
3
My
school
calendar。本单元重点学习月份(January--December)及有关月份中的一些节日、活动的单词及短语。
在本单元之前,学生已经初步接触过个别月份的表达。本单元要求学生能够听、说、读、写一年的12个月份的名称,掌握12个月份的缩写形式,初步了解日期的表达方式。本单元通过“校历”
的形式来展示各个月份的活动与节日安排,让学生一目了然。在学习月份的过程中,学生还会学习到中西方国家的重大节日以及在这些节日中所开展的各项活动等等。教学时可以让学生通过完成各种任务型活动,让学生们在理解的基础上,尝试着归纳,总结规律,与同伴进行交流与表达。
二、学情分析:

本单元的教学对象是小学五年级学生。五年级是小学英语学习的高级阶段,他们已经有了一定的语言基础同时喜欢丰富多彩又具有挑战性的活动。他们已经积累了一定的词汇和句型,有较好的语音、语调和语言基础,并且基本养成了英语学习习惯。本单元“校历”是学生十分感兴趣的话题,并且与学生的生活息息相关。特别是西方国家的各种节日也是孩子非常感兴趣的话题,学生也乐于参与其中。

1进行表达。因此,本课的教学内容是相当多的。
本节课主要从warm
up,
lead-in,
presentation,
practice
and
consolidation,summary等几个环节进行教学。由于本课的信息量大,内容多,我能注意每个月份单词的层层推进教学;并能注意词、句的联合教学;在单词的教学上也注重了音标的学生,帮助学生找出单词的拼写规律,帮助学生更好更快的拼写和掌握单词。另外,在教学中,我还注意跟学生讲述西方节日的文化,学习一门语言,需要了解语言存在背后的文化,习俗,这样学习起来才能灵活,同时更容易融入生活实际的运用。
只是,在本节课的设计上,新授环节用时比较多,导致后面的巩固操练环节时间不够充分。也就是学生的输入量是大的,但是输出量不够。学生们没有得到充分的时间去运用到句子和对话中去,缺乏了表达的机会。因此,还得注意设计上各部分时间的调配。
