一、教材分析：
本单元是PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit
3
My
school
calendar。本单元重点学习月份（January--December）及有关月份中的一些节日、活动的单词及短语。
在本单元之前，学生已经初步接触过个别月份的表达。本单元要求学生能够听、说、读、写一年的12个月份的名称，掌握12个月份的缩写形式，初步了解日期的表达方式。本单元通过“校历”
的形式来展示各个月份的活动与节日安排，让学生一目了然。在学习月份的过程中，学生还会学习到中西方国家的重大节日以及在这些节日中所开展的各项活动等等。教学时可以让学生通过完成各种任务型活动，让学生们在理解的基础上，尝试着归纳，总结规律，与同伴进行交流与表达。
二、学情分析：

本单元的教学对象是小学五年级学生。五年级是小学英语学习的高级阶段，他们已经有了一定的语言基础同时喜欢丰富多彩又具有挑战性的活动。他们已经积累了一定的词汇和句型，有较好的语音、语调和语言基础，并且基本养成了英语学习习惯。本单元“校历”是学生十分感兴趣的话题，并且与学生的生活息息相关。特别是西方国家的各种节日也是孩子非常感兴趣的话题，学生也乐于参与其中。
三、本课教学目标：

九、教学反思：
基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是通过各种教学活动，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力与合作创新的精神，培养学生综合运用英语的能力。
本单元教学是遵循以上原则，并结合小学英语课程标准的要求而设计的。课堂教学以“月份校历”为主题，以与每位学生密切相关的“节日”为主线贯穿始终。教学中，我注意和旧知进行联系。如：如在月份单词教学前，先复习了一年的4季，降低学习难度，切入学生熟知的知识逻辑思维，然后再进行月份的学习与分类。这样，学生对单词的学习就没那么陌生了。教学中，因为本课单词信息大，其中，January
和
February
又比较难掌握，节日单词多又比较难记住，因此在教学新单词时，我就注意把记忆的方法教给学生。如：January和February的拼写相似，帮助学生找出相同结构-uary，帮助学生理解。
同样的，由于上面所述：本课单词信息大，其中，January
和
February
又比较难掌握，节日单词多又比较难记住，所以本课开展的拓展活动比较少。本课主要还是让学生解决本课重点词汇与突破难点。
