Q1: What present does the girl give her father?
It’s father’s birthday. A poor (贫穷) girl wants to give him a birthday present. When she is wrapping(包) a box with some gold (镀金的) paper, her father is very angry (生气) .“you can’t waste the gold paper on a box.” The girl is very sad.
The next day, the girl gives the box to her father and says, “ Dad, this is for you. ”His father’s face turns red.
