When our friends have their birthdays, we usually go to their birthday parties and give them some presents. But how can you choose great presents for them?
It's a good idea to buy CDs for friends if (如果) they like music. Usually a CD isn't so expensive and it s easy to buy it near your home. But if your friend likes reading, you can buy him or her a book or a magazine. These presents aren't expensive, but they are really great. I'm sure your friends must (一定) like them.
If your friend is a girl, why not buy her a nice scarf or a cute dress? These presents can be expensive. If you can't afford them, ask your parents for some money and they can help you.
If your friend is a boy, you can buy him a football, a T-shirt or a pair (双) of sports shoes. He must like the presents.
Sometimes you don't have to buy presents for your friends, but doing something for them is OK. If your friend likes films, you can go to the cinema with him or her. If he or she likes doing sports, you can play with him or her.
