教材分析 本单元重点是学生学会所有的字母认读与书写。本课中的四个字母书写较为简单，相对应的单词较长，有一定难度。同时，通过chant的学习可以更好的对所学的颜色进行复习巩固。
学情分析 三年级的学生正处于少年时期，孩子们具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点。他们喜欢新鲜事物，对陌生语言的好奇心能激起他们对外语的兴趣。
基于前面四课关于字母的书写学习，本课字母教授较为简单，学生比较容易掌握。单词较长，学习发音有一定难度。对于颜色，有上节课的铺垫，本节课接受起来也较为容易。

把学生分成两组，每组选出一名自告奋勇的学生到前面，教师说出从A到R的任何一个字母并说明大写或小写。第一个正确写出字母的学生为本组赢得1分。

c. Answer the questions. 以轻松的问候语开始课程。通过生动有趣的活动带动学生学习的热情。同时复习上节课的重点句型，为本节课做铺垫。

T: Show me the letter Ss. Let’s learn the new letter: Ss.
(出示字母卡片)

（强调S在单词中的发音。）
T: Who can remember any words that start with the letter“s”？
提示学生字母Ss 后面紧跟的字母是什么？
Tt, Uu, Vv和上面的教法一样，提醒学生注意Uu, Vv的写法。
2、Learn the new words.
T: Look! There are many flowers in the garden. How beautiful!(Point to orange.) This is orange. This colour is orange.
T：Now, let’s listen to the tape and read after it.
(brown, white, black 和上面的教法一样。)
