活动一：复习课文
活动目标：以提问题形式，复习已学过的知识点，为新知做铺垫。
实施方法与师生语言预设：
教师开始提出3个问题作为导入，然后组织学生进行课文的训练。
T：How can make use of trees？
S：Sometimes our cat the food from trees. Sometimes we build things with the wood from tree.
T: Can you name some things that come from trees?
S: Sure. Apples, peaches, nuts, and many other fruits come from trees.

活动一：句型操练
活动目标：通过学习，掌握本课的How can we make use of trees?句型,以及回答We build things with the wood from trees.词组,以及单词rocks, iron, steel并能在句中应用。
实施方法与师生语言预设：
1．师生问答

(教师出示:rocks, iron, steel的图片引导学生看图,寻找答案。)

2．观察并说说
T: 组织学生再观察图片思考：What are they?
S: 学生指名三幅图片，说一说，rocks, iron, steel.

活动目标：培养学生阅读的习惯

2．自己读，圈出不认识的单词，或是阻碍理解句子的单词。
3．小组讨论单词的含义，教师巡视指导。
4．听故事。
5．跟读录音。
6．再读故事，小组展开讨论，并完成习题。
7．复述故事。
设计意图：通过多种方式，使学生学会阅读的方法，此而提高学生的阅读能力。
