形容词性物主代词是物主代词的一种,相当于形容词,在句中只能用作定语,置于名词前,起修饰作用。表示“某人的”。

形容词性物主代词
如果名词前用了形容词性物主代词,就不能再用冠词 (a,an,the)、指示 代词 (this,that,these,those)等修饰词了。
eg:This is his book. 这是他的书。

与形容词一起修饰名词时,形容词性物主代词要放在形容词的前面。 eg:his English books. 他的英语书

汉语中经常会出现“我哥哥”,“你们老师”等语言现象,虽然代词用的是“我”、“你们”,但实际意义仍是“我的”、“你们的”,所以在翻译为英语时,注意要用形容词性物主代词“my”,“your”。
it's与its读音相同,he's与his读音相同,但使用时需注意它们的区别 (it's和he's分别是it is和he is的缩略形式,但its 和his 却是形容词性物主代词) 。
eg:It's a cat. Its name is Tom.
它是一只猫。它的名字是汤姆。

系动词be的形式由主语决定。动词be (说明身份、年龄、状态等)
记忆口诀:动词be,变化大,I用am,you用are,
is用于它(it)、他(he)、她(she),
复数一律要用are,切莫用错闹笑话。
1、一般现在时的句子中,动词be有三种形式,分别是is,am,are。

2、缩写形式:isn't=is not aren't=are not
注意:am not一般不缩写。
3、含be动词的一般现在时肯定句变否定句时在be后直接加not ,变一般疑问句时把be提至句首。
单数名词用is,复数名词都用are。
变否定更容易,be后not加上去。
变疑问,往前提,句末问号莫忘记。
还有一项要清楚,句首大写要牢记。
