Q: When do we use the Present continuous Tense

When we talk about things happening now.
1.表示现在（指说话人说话时）正在发生的事情，常与now（现在），at present （现在），at the moment （此刻）等时间状语连用。
e.g.: We are speaking now.
2.习惯进行：
表示长期的或重复性的动作，说话时动作未必正在进行，常与today(今天)，this week（这个星期），this evening（今天晚上），recently（最近）等时间状语连用。
e.g.: She is learning piano under Mr.Tang recently.
某些动词不能用于进行时态
A.表示情感的动词：believe，doubt，forget，remember，know，think，understand，like，love， hate， prefer
e.g: I know the answer.
B.表示“感官”的动词：hear，see, smell, sound, taste, look, seem
e.g.: It tastes delicious.
C.表示“拥有”的动词：belong， need，contain，want，wish, have
e.g.: This book belongs to Mary.
