探究点一：什么是状语？

Summary:修饰____词、______词、____词、或者整个句子，说明动词或状态特征的句子成分，叫做状语。
探究点二：什么是状语从句？
1. When I lived in the countryside, I used to carry some water for him.
2. We must camp where we can get water.
3. You shouldn’t get angry just because some people speak ill of you.
4. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, we will go to the zoo.
5. Although he is very old, he is quite strong.
Summary:在主从复合句中修饰主语中的动词、 形容词、副词等的_____叫做 “状语从句 ”。
探究点三：让步状语从句

=Angela seemed relaxed and did really well although / though she was not prepared.
②Although / Though my grandpa is very old, he plays table tennis every day.
= My grandpa plays table tennis every day although / though he is very old.
Summary: though, although 引导让步状语从句时，一般情况下可以互换使用，不过although较为正式。从句既可以放在主句 (从句后面需要加逗号)，也可以放在主句 (一般不用加逗号)。
