Spring Festival is a traditional Chinese festival. It comes in January or February each year.
Do you know the customs (习俗) during the festival
On Spring Festival’s Eve, the night before Spring Festival, each family has a big dinner.
People usually eat some traditional Chinese food like delicious dumplings.
At 8 o’clock, people start watching Spring Festival Gala.
Then at midnight people set off firecrackers (放鞭炮) and fireworks (烟花) to welcome Spring Festival.
On the first day of Spring Festival, people visit their friends and relatives (亲戚), saying Happy New Year or Happy Spring Festival to each other.
Children usually get lots of hongbaos with lucky money (压岁钱) inside.
