Step 1 Show some pictures of flats and ask questions:
Do you live in a flat or a house?
How many rooms are there in your flat?
What are they?
How big is your flat?
Answer them and remember new words. Present new words to the students (flat, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, balcony, square meter and so on)
Step 2 Ask students to read the plans of the three flats and then answer the questions:
Which flat is the biggest of the three?
Which flat has the largest sitting room? How large is it?
Which flat do you like best? Why? Answer and talk with each other To let the students get familiar with how to talk about flats
