【教学目标】
1．了解我们国家的节日。
2．帮助学生进行听力，阅读与写作练习。
一、基础目标
掌握vocabulary中的单词。
深入理解课文内容，了解国家的节日几有哪些庆祝活动。
掌握课文内容，完成问题。
二、发展目标
1．掌握选择疑问句的用法。
2．能用学过知识与所给的语言内容整合，拓展学生的语言量，让学生进行小组活动。
3．能用英语进行简单的语言交际。
三、能力目标
能运用所学知识描述对国庆节的庆祝活动。
培养学生的阅读能力。
情感、策略和文化等有关目标：
1．情感态度：培养学生热爱祖国的思想感情。
2．学习策略：在开展小组活动，编排对话的时候要善于学习别的同学好的方法。
文化目标：了解我们国家的各种节日以及庆祝活动。

重点：
1．本课的重点单词。
2．要让学生深入的理解课文，掌握选择疑问句的用法。
3．邀请、接受和谢绝邀请。
难点：
能用学过知识与所给的语言内容整合，拓展学生的语言量，让学生进行小组活动。

【教学准备】
录音机，学生分组
【教学过程】
时间：35~40分钟
1．Pre-task Preparation
（1）Leading-in
Ask the students some questions about National Festival?
Do you know which day is National Festival?
What galas do you have on National day?
What festivals do you know?
Students can discuss the questions
Show them the new words.
National day national flag go sightseeing call on accept member invitation plan. Get together.
（2）Methods
①The students say the words after the teacher;
②Teacher writes the words on the blackboard;
③Students can talk about the questions.
（3）Purpose
让学生边把所学的单词读熟记准，以便为后面的学习打下基础。用常见的问题引入课题，容易引起学生的兴趣。
2．Show the text
（1）Answer the questions below . Use the picture and word cues.
They can discuss together.
（2）Work in pairs and answer the following questions.
Answers:
1．It is National Day.
2．They are celebrating the day.
Methods: Students can talk about the pictures in English, they can find what ways people use to celebrate National Day.
Purpose: 通过谈论这些照片同学们可以了解我国人们庆祝国庆节的方式，提高他们的爱国意识。

（1）Show students the text and ask the students some questions
When does Li Hui celebrate National Day?
How does Chinese people celebrate National Day?
What about you?
Students read the text carefully, and explain the text. When the students read, teacher can go around to answer the student’s questions. After they finish reading, teacher can ask students to read the text.one by one.
Teacher and students read the Lesson Notes together. If the students don’t understand the text, the teacher should explain in time. And teacher can let students find the important sentences in the text.
（2）When the students do it ,the teacher can give some help.
Methods: Teacher can explain the notes.
Students can discuss together, after they finish reading the text, check the answers.
Purpose: 学生带着问题读课文会更集中注意力，也有助于他们理解课文内容。老师读课文重点句子的讲解更会加深他们的印象，为后面的填空打下基础。
Complete the dialogue between Linda and Helen, and then act it out in pairs.
Answers: on the evening, shame, decorate , flowers, balloons and national flags, Certainly, get together, at home, at restaurant, go sighting, call on their friends and relatives, visit museums.
4．Discovering Language
（1）Alternative questions.
This part is difficult, teacher can explain carefully, and give more examples.
（2）Asking, accepting and declining an invitation.
【教学反思】
通过本课的教学，同学们对英语课有了新的认识，了解了提高英语技能的方法。相信对他们以后的学习会有所帮助。同时我也意识到本课的语法部分同学们掌握不太好。在以后的教学中需要再次强调。
