Step 1 present the three housing estates then ask questions
Do you live in a house or a high-rise?
Do you live in the suburbs or in the centre of town?
Is your flat near the shopping malls / the bus stop?
Books open.
Look at the three pictures and try to describe them with the given words and phrases.
Let them repeat and practice 揌ow is your housing estate? (= What抯 your housing estate like?)
Step 2 Ask some questions about the pictures of Tuning In:
What can you see around Sun Garden?
Which housing estate is the most convenient for shopping?
Which public transport is more convenient, the one for Sun Garden or the one for Rose Garden?
Which flat has a better view, the one in Rose Garden or the one in City Garden?
How is Sun Garden? We can also say: What抯 Sun Garden like? Answer them with the new phrases and words.
Step 3 Let the students compare Rose Garden and Sun Garden.
