【教学分析】
课文地位
1.本课是unit4的第一课,重点介绍be able to与ought to 的 用法,be able to表达一个人的能力并有人称时态的变化,教师应将此作为教学重点, ought to无人称时态的变化,并让学生复习学过的情态动词。为本课的教学和后面两课的继续学习作好必要的铺垫.
2.本课中重点谈论电脑的四大部件与因特网的益处,它们是学生在生活上经常做的并对此比较感兴趣,教师应强化语言的操练,在课上尽量创设和模拟真实情景。

Text 本课重点句型为 what can you do with…?学生对此并不陌生。教学中主要以复习操练为主。本课难点是几个电脑。建议教师多采2的名称,通过表演或示范,让学生在练习中熟练运用这几个新授短语。

Developing Skills 本课 Reading部分是一篇介绍电脑的科技文章。建议让学生把reading改变成短剧,进行电脑利弊的辩论,效果一定很精彩。教学时,教师应注意几个重要短语,为学生作必要的解释。
本课writing内容的难度不大,建议学生写完后在组内或班内交流。并建议让学生带着这些问题去采访班内其他同学,然后作一定的评述。(教学过程见[链接5])

1.Group work: 小组讨论并用be able to 完成对话

(1)One student give a situation with be able to, another student answer according to the truth.
(2)Count the numbers that can be divided by three. e.g. third, ninth, twelfth…

5.A game: 学生事先准备好一张纸,第一组写上who,第二组写be able to,第三组写do what,第四组写 when and where,同学们读出句子,最后老师对活动作总结,可提些问题考考学生,检查学生的听课效率,对答出的同学给予一定的奖励。

Reading部分是培养学生阅读习惯的好机会。教师不要急于讲解短文中的内容,也不要急于朗读全文。可以要求学生带着不认识的单词阅读全文。教师通过一系列的问题检测学生的阅读结果。教师可以让学生根据短文内容提问题,然后由教师作补充。让学生将短文内容编成对话,增加这方面的练习能培养学生的创造能力、综合运用英语能力及表演能力。
