学生情况分析
本班学生为七年级学生,48人,其中男女比例4/5。因现在小学已开设英语课程,加上七年级上学期的学习,学生已经有了一定的英语基础,对听说读写各方面都有一定的了解。而且本班的学生是通过了两次的统考而筛选出来的,加上年龄的关系,有着较高的好奇心和求知欲。很多学生有早晨读英语背单词的良好习惯。但是各项英语技能还需大大加强,尤其是口头表达技能。
教材分析
本节课所讲内容为新课标英语七年级下册,第七单元 what does he look like?SectionA 1a---1c的内容 中心话题是“人物的外貌”贴近学生生活,扩大视野,充分反映了新课标的课程理念,例如提高与人的交流能力,增强实践能力,培养了创新精神等
本单元的学习目标
1 掌握人物外貌的描述
2重点词汇:curly hair straight hair long hair
medium height(build)等
3重点句型 What does he look like?

Step1 Revision
设计意图: 以日常问候导入,把学生的注意力转移到课堂上来,且让学生能够轻松进入课堂学习。
Step 2 Lead-in
设计意图:复习巩固前课所学内容,从而更好的学习本节课的知识,对单词的复习,让学生在以下的任务中能够熟练的运用。运用了循环记忆法,帮助记忆单词。在复习新单词的同时引入本节课的新句型,并采用不同的方式来操练,有个人的,全班的和两人的,这样的引入自然,流畅,操练的面广而且充分.

1c: The teacher do the pairwork with different students and then ask them to do the pairwork with their parters.
设计意图:
老师与学生先做pairwork,再让学生自己去做,同时把目标语言展示给学生,这样的活动学生在听说的过程中很自然的就学会了本节课的目标语言,因为有图片的帮助,老师也不需要讲解过多的中文解释,让学生”Learning by doing”也是任务型语言教学的特点.

Step 4 competion (Groupework).
Devide the Ss into 12 groupes,ask them to describe the person that I give them,other Ss guess who they are according to the describtion they make.

分组竞赛,激发学生的积极性.让他们在游戏的过程中把本节课所学的内容输出来,同时也训练了他们的听说读写的综合能力,扩展他们的思维。
