教学目标
通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:
1.知识目标
(1)复习巩固本模块所学的生词和短语。
(2)复习巩固形容词和副词比较级的用法和副词的用法。
2.能力目标
(1)能运用形容词和副词的比较级谈论喜欢的体育运动。
(2)能运用形容词和副词的比较级,制作有关“Our favourite Olympic sport”的海报。
3.情感目标
培养学生对体育锻炼的热爱;使学生了解体育竞技的精神和意义所在。

Step 1 Warming up
Ask the students to observe the sentences in Language practice.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Ask the students to read the sentences in Language practice.
This week’s match is already more exciting.
It is more difficult to practise in winter.
We are training harder than usual.
This year we want to do better.
2. Help them sum up the grammar.
Grammar
1.形容词比较级的构成:
规则变化:
单音节和部分双音节形容词
一般在词尾加-er
tall→taller
long→longer
以不发音的e结尾,在词尾加-r
fine→finer
late→later
以“辅音+元音+辅音字母”结尾的重读闭音节,双写末尾字母再加-er
big→bigger
thin→thinner
以“辅音字母+y”结尾,先把“y”改为“i”再加-er
easy→easier
early→earlier
不规则变化:
2.副词的基本用法
英语中的副词该如何使用呢?应该放在句中的什么地方呢?一般说来,副词主要用来修饰动词、形容词和副词。
She plays the piano badly.她钢琴弹得很糟。
I’m really tired after last night’s tennis match.昨晚的网球赛后我真的很累。
注意副词与形容词在位置及功能上的不同,试比较:
The teacher speaks carefully.这位老师讲得很仔细。
The teacher is careful.这位老师很细心。
副词修饰动词时通常出现在行为动词(实义动词)之后。
形容词通常位于系动词之后或名词之前。
形容词变副词的方法
a. 直接 + ly,如:
careful + ly→ carefully
quick + ly→ quickly
safe + ly→ safely
b. 以辅音字母+y结尾,变y为i,再+ly,如:
busy + ly→ busily
heavy + ly→ heavily
3.副词的比较级
副词比较级和形容词比较级的变化形式大致相同,也分规则变化和不规则变化两种。
(1)We are training  harder  because we want to win.
我们训练得更刻苦,因为我们想要获胜。
(2)This year we are training more carefully.
今年我们训练得更认真了。
(3)Sam did better this year than last year.
萨姆今年做得比去年好。
拓展:“the +比较级,the +比较级”是比较级表达中的一个固定句式,表示“越……,越……”。
The faster you run,the earlier you will be there.
你跑得越快,就越早到达那里。
Step 3 Practice
1. Ask students to work in pairs. Look at the pictures and talk about the sports in Activity 1.
Work in pairs:
—What’s your favourite sports?
—My favourite sport is swimming. It’s exciting.
Now compare the sports.

2. Make a poster. Find a photo for your favourite Olympic sport and include it in the poster.
3. Show your poster to other classmates.
4. Tell the students how to make a poster.
如何制作海报
1.首先要明确海报的主题,根据主题去搜集相关的图片和文字素材。
2.根据要宣传的对象,拟好宣传标语或者宣传介绍,为制作海报做好准备。
3.在根据确定的标题选好素材以后,对素材进行整理和修改,应用于海报。
