以自我介绍的方式导入对年龄的介绍和询问,进入对howold和数字的学习。通过听、说和数字匹配的方式练习数字的表达和识记;在此基础上通过加法的计算和对howmany的回答进一步加强对数字的练习和运用。
教学目标
通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:
1.知识目标
掌握本单元新单词: old, how old, twelve, eleven, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, boy, girl, desk, chair, bag。

能够了解关于年龄的用语。

通过听说训练,运用所学的知识与同学友好交流,增进感情。重点难点

Step 1 Leading in
T: Class, please stand up. Hello, class.
Ss: Hello, Mr Wu.
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, Mr Wu.
T: Please sit down.
Ss: Thank you.
T: Let’s learn the number.
Students read the numbers.
Step 2 Presentation
Teacher says: I’m your teacher. My name is… and I’m 35.
Next, ask a student: What’s your name? How old are you?
Then, teach the conversation: —How old are you?—I’m…
Finally, get the class to practice the conversation and check them.
Step 3 Listen and read
Get the students to listen to the recording, and then read the conversation following the recording.
Then practice the conversation in pairs.
Step 4 Numbers
1. Listen, repeat and say.
(1) Get the students to read the numbers following the recording. At the same time, the teacher shows the number cards to show the meaning of the number.
(2) The teacher shows the number cards to the class, and the students say out the numbers in English.
2. Match.
Get the class to read the numbers in English, and then match them.

3. Listen and point.

Get the class to listen to the recording and write the numbers.
