Step 1 Leading in
1. Play an English song: Good morning!
2. Say“Hello, everyone! My name is...”to introduce yourself.
T: Hello, everyone! My name is…I am from...I am…years old. I am your new teacher.
3. Ask the students to introduce themselves in groups by using these sentences:
Hello, my name’s…
Good morning.
Good afternoon.
Goodbye.
Step 2 Listening
1. Play the recording in Activity 1 and ask the students to listen and check how many people speak.
2. Play it again and ask the students to check the words they listen.
3. Ask the students to listen and read.
4. Ask the students to listen again and repeat.
5. Ask the students to act it out in groups.
6. Match the sentences in Activity 3.

Step 3 Language points
1. Hello! 你好!
“Hello!”常用于熟人、朋友和同学之间相互打招呼,表示“你好!”;也可以用在打电话时,意为“喂!”,对方可用“Hello!”或者“Hi!”来应答。
A: Hello/Hi, Susan! 你好/喂,苏珊!
B: Hello/Hi, Mike! 你好/喂,迈克!
2. Good morning! 早上好!
“Good morning!”是上午较为正式的问候语,它的答语仍为“Goodmorning!”。
A: Good morning, Zhao Hao!早上好,赵浩!
B: Good morning, Li Mei!早上好,李梅!
3. Good afternoon! 下午好!
“Good afternoon!”是下午这段时间较为正式的问候语,它的答语仍为“Goodafternoon!”。

4. class 用作名词,有多种含义:
①班;班级

5. my我的形容词性物主代词,用来修饰名词。

Step 4 Letters
1. Play the recording and ask the students to listen and say the letters.

2. Show the ABC song to the students. Ask them to sing after the recording.

3. Ask the students to sing together.
4. Writing.
书写的规则:
①按照字母的笔顺和字母在四线三格中应占的位置书写。
②每个字母都稍向右斜,斜度要一致。本书字母的斜度约为5°。

③大写字母都一样高。

④小写字母a, c, e, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z写在中间的一格,上下都不出格。

⑤小写字母b, d, h, k, l的上端顶第一线。

⑥小写字母i的点和t的上端都在第一格中间。

⑦小写字母g, q, y的下端抵第四线。

⑧小写字母a, d, h, i, k, l, m, n, t, u等字母的收笔是一个上挑的小圆钩,如: 。
⑨g, j, y的下延弯度要适当,如: 。
