Step 1 Language practice
1. Read through the sentences with the whole class and make sure they understand the differences in meaning.
2. Revise words about family members. Let them make sentences about the picture.

3. Look at the pictures in Activity 1 and talk about the families.
(1) Let them work in pairs and talk about the families.
