审好题是书面表达成功的前提,只有做到明确写作要求才能有的放矢,提高写作的针对性和减少不必要的丢分。在英语写作中审题就是通过阅读题目所给的汉语和英文提示或图表信息明确写作的具体要求和确定下一步写作的方向。通常状况下,英语作文的审题应努力做好以下五点:

一、审文体
根据作文的情景提示首先确定文章应采用哪种体裁,即要求写记叙文、说明文、议论文还是应用文。如2014年广州一模“中国茶知多少”白茶介绍属于说明文体;2014年肇庆一模介绍肇庆手工艺品“端砚”属于说明文体;2010年广东高考真题基础写作,写一篇校园墙报通讯属于通讯报道;2011年基础写作广东卷“虎妈”教育方式讨论,属于说明文图书介绍;2012年广东卷基础写作传奇人物终身学习,属于应用文;2013广东卷移民火星的快讯,属于应用文,时事快讯。

2013广东读写任务平凡工作中的“不平凡”属于议论文,读后感(夹叙夹议)。而且,在确定好文体后还要进一步明确该文体的基本特点,以做到表达得体。
二、审格式
每种体裁都有其特定的文章格式,在写作时应根据要求弄清楚采用哪种格式,使用哪些套语等,力求做到形式规范。如书信通常包括称呼、开头、正文、结尾和签名五个部分。

三、审人称
在审题的过程中要确定好写作采用的人称,即采用第一人称、第二人称还是第三人称进行写作。如日记通常采用第一人称展开写作。
四、审时态
根据题目要求确定写作的主体时态,保证写作语言的准确性。在高中写作中常用的时态有一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时、过去完成时、一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时、现在完成时、现在完成进行时、将来进行时、将来完成时等十余种基本时态。

大家在平时学习中要熟悉每一种时态的基本用法并在写作训练中不断实践最终达到“用之能来,来之能战”的理想效果。
另外,在审题时要特别注意根据写作的需要有没有时态的交叉现象,准确定位采用哪几种时态进行写作。
五、其他
在审题时还要注意文章的写作有没有词数、句子数、题目、开头、结尾的要求,有没有不能使用真实姓名和学校名称的特殊要求,有没有给出参考词汇及参考词汇如何应用等。
