1. by prep. （表示方式）乘 ☆☆☆

元音字母y，在词中发/ai/。此外by还有在……旁边的意思。
I go to school by school bus. 我乘公共汽车去学校。
by+交通工具
take和by
（1）take，动词，表示“乘、坐”某一交通工具，take+冠词+具体的交通工具。
如：take a bus, take the subway。
（2）by，介词，by+交通工具，表示“出行的方式”，作状语。
如：by train, by ship, by car, by bike, by subway。
by后面一定要直接加交通工具的单数形式。

固定搭配：on foot = walk to …

Mrs的首字母必须大写。
