1. 能够询问并描述过去发生的事情。
2. 能够熟练使用What did you do at the weekend? Where did you go? How did you go to these places? He visited lots of places. There were lots of people.
重点：句子What did you do at the weekend? We visited lots of places. Where did you go? We went to the British Museum. There were lots of people.
难点：there be句型的一般过去式。

Amy: We visited lots of places.
Daming: Where did you go?
Amy: We went to the British Museum. And we visited Big Ben and the London Eye.
Daming: How did you go to these places?
Amy: We went by bus.
Daming: Did Lingling like the museum?
Amy: Yes, she did. But she liked the bus ride best! Then we took a boat trip along the river. It took us one hour and twenty minutes.

【句子赏析】
1. What did you do at the weekend? We visited lots of places.
你们在周末做什么了？我们参观了很多地方。
问句：What did+主语+do+其他？
答语：主语+动词过去式+其他。
此句用来询问某人过去做过什么，what意为“什么”，用来引导特殊疑问句。

What did you do at the park？We planted trees and played games.
你们在公园做什么了？我们植树和玩游戏了。
由于询问过去做过什么事情，所以句中的助动词要用did，答语中的动词也要用过去式。
what询问个人情况： what询问时间：
1. 问外貌What’s...like? 1. 问钟点What time is it？
2. 问姓名What’s...name? 2. 问星期几What day is it today？
3. 问职业What’s ...job? 3. 问日期What’s the date？
根据句意填空。

字母组合ere在where发/ε?/
问句：Where did+主语+go？
答语：主语+went（to）+地点。
Where用来询问地点，意为“哪儿”。Where用来引导特殊疑问句。

Where did you go？I went to Beijing and Shanghai. 你去哪儿了？我去了北京和上海。
询问过去去哪儿，所以助动词要用did，注意回答时动词要用过去式。
特殊疑问词还包括：
what, where, why, when, who, whose等。
wear v. 穿着，用旧，耗损
ware vt. 留心；小心
根据句意填空。

3. There were lots of people. 有许多人。
句型结构：There was/were+其他.
there be句型用来描述过去某地有某人或某物。
基本结构：There+be动词+人/物（+地点）
There be 句型的过去时要将be动词变成was/were。
There was lots of water in the river many years ago. 许多年前河里有很多水。
there be句型的主语是某人或某物，be动词（was/were）要与主语（某人/某物）在人称和数上保持一致。当主语是两个或两个以上的名词时，谓语动词要与离它最近的那个名词的数保持一致，即就近原则。
如：There were two boys and a girl under the tree yesterday.
There was a girl and two boys under the tree yesterday.
用was或were填空
There a school in this town in 1998.
There many flowers in the park last week.
答案：was were
