教 学 目 标 本课是引导学生继续学习用I’m...句型描述人的外貌,并学习两个形容词连用的描述方法: I’m short and fat,并且理解look和look like的含义。指导学生在真实的语境中合理使用语言。
教学重点 学习形容词fat, strong和thin的听说认读,以及在四线格内的规范书写。
教学难点 理解句子I’m strong. You’re thin.的含义,并能在真实语境中恰当使用。

歌曲热身,激发学生兴趣。
T: Class begins! Stand up. Good afternoon, boys and girls.
T: Shall we sing a song together?
S: Good afternoon, Miss Han.
S: Ok. 歌曲热身,复习了前面3课所学形容词;同时消除了学生的紧张心理,为新课导入做好铺垫。
“感恩节”引入,介绍情景。
T: Look here,do you know which country it is? (The flag of America)
T: Great! Today, it抯 a big day in America. It抯 揟hanksgiving Day.
T: Good. Many children in America will say 揟hank you to fathers, mothers and friends today. How about you?
T: Excellent. Do you want to get the presents and then give them to your father, mother or other people?
T: Use the coins. There are many coins in your group, and everyone should try your best to get the coins, Ok?
S: Yes. It抯 America.

S: I say “Thank you” to my father, my mother, my sister, and my teacher.

猜动物,复习旧知。

猜卡通人物,引出新知。
T: Let’s guess again. What’s this?
T: Maybe you are right. Let’s have a look together.
T: Good. Can you say something about him?
T: He is ...... fat. Let’s spell “fat” together. (板书)
T: Can you spell it?
T: Hello, I’m Baymax. “I’m fat.” (板书) Or we can also say “I am fat.”(板书)
T: Oh, look here. They look like ......
T: Yes, they look like twins.
T: Hello, I’m Baymax. I’m fat.
用以上猜谜方法,根据“超人”形象引出strong, 根据“Judy兔子”形象引出thin……,并教授两个单词的认读和拼写。 S: It looks like a dog.

S: Hello, I’m Baymax. I’m fat, too.

继续使用猜谜形式,引出本课新的形容词以及句型。使学生始终保持积极参与的状态,轻松学习新课。
根据拼图引出对话内容。
T: Now, look. All these six puzzles are together. Who are they? They are Li Yan and Lisa. But they are fat. How they become fat? Now, open your books. Lesson 34. Let’s listen to this dialogue and point at your sentence together!
(使用光盘听完整对话)
T: Do you know why they are fat?
T: Yes, they are looking into a mirror.

呼呼应开头,组织学生用所学单词和句型进行综合语言练习。

拓展新知,提升英语学习能力
T: I also have got my present. It’s a giraffe. I say “thank you” to my friend. Now, look at the photo of her. She has two small eyes. She has a small nose and a big mouth. She is tall and thin. And she looks beautiful.
T: Great! It’s time for you to tell me the answer. To whom you want to say thank you and to whom you want to give the present? Now, take out your paper. Let’s write and draw.

课后作业
1. To finish the paper of the person you want to say “Thank you”.
2. To find some other presents and then say something about them with your friends.

教学反思 优点:本课层次清晰,真正将语言运用到实际生活中。教师在学生换取玩偶时候,敢于放手学生用语言表达。另外,在教课过程中遇到难词生词,教师没有放弃学生,进行拓展补充。建议:在学生换取玩偶时候,可以用所学形容词及时进行描述,活学活用。
