教学目标
通过本课的学习学生能够:
1. 听懂、会说故事中出现的短语:long ears a short tail a long tail, 并能结合所学句型运用类似的短语描述动物的特征。
2. 理解故事内容,分角色朗读并表演故事。
3. 根据情境,综合运用本单元句型(如:It is .../It has …)表达自己的观点。
4. 体会个性美,懂得尊重差异性,认识团结合作的重要性。
学情分析
四年级阶段的学生有一定的英语基础,他们活泼好动、喜欢猜谜、听故事,他们热衷于各种表演活动。我校一年级开设英语课,学生一二三年级对形容词就有所了解,本单元的形容词对于学生来说并不陌生,他们可以轻松听、说、认读这些单词,大部分学生书写方面有待进一步提高。本单元共有6课,本课是本单元的最后一课,通过之前课程的学习学生已经掌握了“I’m + 形容词”、“I have + 形容词性词组”、“…has + 形容词性词组”的表达方式,并能用这些语言知识描述简单的事物。学生的注意力不能很长时间集中,需要通过丰富的活动来集中他们的注意力。因为独生子女的关系很多学生自我意识比较强,团结协作的能力有待进一步培养。
教学重难点
重点:
1. 运用所学的形容词和形容词短语描述人、动物和常见物品。
2. 理解故事内容并表演故事。
3. 通过故事的学习认识个体差异,懂得团结合作的重要性。
难点:
1. 在第三人称单数为主语时学生能够正确使用“has”(如:“A rabbit has long ears and a short tail.”)
2. 在表达过程中正确使用名词单复数(如:big ears, a short tail)
3. 通过这个故事的学习引发学生对于个性、差异性以及团结协作的思考。

情景1:一棵香蕉树上长着特别诱人的香蕉。猴子和大象都特别想吃香蕉。提问:

情景2:那棵香蕉树比之前那棵更高,大象够不到,在大象和猴子面前还有一条河。如果要够到香蕉必须得过一条河,猴子不会游泳,水又有些深。大象却可以顺利趟水过河。提问:
