【句子赏析】
1. How many pupils are there in your class?There are fourteen.
你们班级里有多少名学生?有十四名。
问句:How many+可数名词复数+are there+其他?……有多少……?
答语:There are+基数词。有……
此句是询问数量的句型及其答语。
How many birds are there in the zoo? There are twenty. 动物园里有多少只鸟?有二十只。
How many后加可数名词的复数。
there be句型的基本框架:
there +be+人/物(+地点)表示某地有某人或某物。
there be句型的一般现在时,be动词可以是is/are.
there be句型的主语是某人/某物,be动词(is/are)要与主语(某人/某物)在 人称和数上保持一致。
例句:There are many apples on the table.
There is an apple on the table.
there be 句型当主语是两个或两个以上的名词时,谓语动词要与离它最近的那个名词的数保持一致,即就近原则。
例句:There are two bananas and a pear on the table.
选择适当的词填空。
