对比上面两组句子中所填词的区别,总结关系副词和“介词+关系代词”引导定语从句的用法。
一.关系副词
1. 关系副词包括when, where, why.
2. 关系副词的用法:
条件一:先行词时表示时间、地点或原因的词;
条件二:从句部分缺少状语。

先行词 主 + 谓+ 宾(缺少状语)

分析并完成下列句子,体会关系副词的用法:

二.“介词+关系代词”引导定语从句的用法。
【关键点】关系代词whom, which前介词的选择由先行词的习惯搭配或后半句动词的搭配而决定。
1. The speed at which light travels is 300000km per second.(由先行词的习惯搭配决定)

2. This is the teacher from whom I borrow the book. (borrow from)(动词词组)
3. Don’t bring the children to see the animals of which they are afraid. (be afraid of)
【拓展】关系副词引导定语从句可以换成“介词+which”结构。
