first
name?你的名字叫什么?
(1)英美人的姓名与中国人的姓名不同,英美人通常是名字在前,姓氏在后,这与中国人的姓名顺序相反。如:
Jim
Green吉姆·格林
名是前面的Jim,而后面的Green是姓。由于Jim放在第一位,所以英语中“名”叫first
name,也可以说“given
name”。如:

他的姓名是约翰·史密斯。你可以叫他的名字。
(2)first是序数词,表示“第一”,序数词是表示顺序的,其前一定要用定冠词the或形容词性物主代词修饰。如:
