第三部分
阅读理解(共15小题;每小题2.5分,满分37.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中,选出最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。
A
Thanksgiving
Day
was
near.
One
day,
the
first-grade
teacher,
Miss
White,
let
her
students
draw
a
picture
of
something
for
which
they
were
thankful.
Most
students
would
celebrate
the
holiday
with
turkey
and
other
traditional
foods
of
the
season.
These,
the
teacher
thought,
would
be
the
subjects
of
most
of
her
students’
art.
Miss
White
was
right.
But
Douglas
made
a
different
kind
of
picture.
When
he
was
asked
to
draw
a
picture
of
something
for
which
he
was
thankful,
he
drew
a
hand.
Nothing
else.
Just
an
empty
hand.
His
picture
brought
imagination
to
his
classmates.
Whose
hand
could
it
be?
One
child
guessed
it
was
the
hand
of
a
farmer,
because
farmers
raised
turkeys.
Another
suggested
it
was
a
police
officer’s
hand,
because
the
police
protected
and
cared
for
people.
While
the
children
were
discussing
with
each
other,
Miss
White
stood
at
Douglas’
desk,
bent
down,
and
asked
him
whose
hand
it
was.
The
little
boy
looked
up
and
whispered,
“It’s
yours,
Miss
White.”
What
Douglas
had
said
reminded
Miss
White
of
the
time
she
had
taken
his
hand
and
walked
with
him
here
and
there.
How
often
had
she
said,
“Take
my
hand,
Douglas,
we’ll
go
outside.”
Or,
“Let
me
show
you
how
to
hold
your
pencil.”
Or,
“Let’s
do
this
together.”
Douglas
was
most
thankful
for
his
teacher’s
hand.
With
tears
in
her
eyes,
Miss
White
went
on
with
her
work.
The
story
speaks
of
more
than
thankfulness.
It
says
something
about
teachers
teaching,
parents
parenting,
friends
showing
friendship,
and
how
much
Miss
White’s
hand
means
to
Douglas.
He
might
not
always
say
thanks,
but
he’ll
remember
the
hand
that
Miss
White
reaches
out.
51.
What
kind
of
picture
did
Miss
White
ask
her
students
to
draw?
A.
A
picture
which
expressed
their
love
to
their
parents.
B.
A
picture
which
showed
their
favorite
traditional
foods.
C.
A
picture
that
could
show
their
thankfulness
for
something.
D.
A
picture
that
could
be
given
to
their
friends
as
a
gift.
52.
It
can
be
known
from
the
passage
that
________.
A.
most
students
drew
some
kinds
of
foods
just
as
Miss
White
expected
B.
Douglas’
family
was
poor
and
he
couldn’t
afford
a
turkey
or
other
foods
C.
Miss
White
often
gave
Douglas
pencils
to
encourage
him
to
draw
D.
Douglas
didn’t
know
how
to
draw
a
turkey
and
other
traditional
foods
53.
Which
word
can
best
describe
Miss
White
when
she
saw
Douglas’
picture?
A.
Angry.
B.
Disappointed.
C.
Proud.
D.
Surprised.
54.
Why
did
Douglas
draw
a
picture
of
his
teacher’s
hand?
A.
Because
Miss
White’s
hand
was
the
most
beautiful
hand
he
had
ever
seen.
B.
Because
he
thought
Miss
White
had
given
him
a
lot
of
care
and
help
with
her
hand.
C.
Because
he
wanted
Miss
White
to
take
his
hand
when
they
went
out
for
activities.
D.
Because
he
was
good
at
drawing
hands
and
was
asked
to
draw
one
by
his
teacher.
55.
The
author
tells
the
story
to
tell
us
________.
A.
it
is
not
easy
to
be
a
good
teacher
B.
why
to
express
your
thankfulness
C.
kindness
will
be
remembered
D.
the
best
way
to
get
along
with
your
teacher
B
The
undersea
world
is
very
beautiful.
Now
more
and
more
people
want
to
dive
in
the
water
to
find
the
secrets
there.
Scuba
diving
is
a
new
sport
today.
It
can
take
you
into
a
wonderful
undersea
world.
You
will
find
many
strange
animals
in
the
sea.
Some
are
as
large
as
a
school
bus.
Many
sea
animals
give
out
light
in
the
dark
and
some
have
sharp
teeth.
During
the
day,
there
is
enough
light.
Here,
under
the
sea,
everything
is
blue
and
green.
When
fish
swim
nearby,
you
can
catch
them
with
your
hands.
When
you
have
bottles
of
air
on
your
back,
you
can
stay
in
deep
water
for
a
long
time.
However,
you
can’t
dive
too
deep.
And
you
must
be
very
careful
when
you
dive
in
deep
water.
The
deep
sea
is
not
an
easy
place
to
live
in.
It’s
cold,
and
it’s
dark,
too.
The
deeper
it
is,
the
less
sunlight
there
is.
At
about
3,000
feet,
there
is
no
light
at
all.
It
is
very
dark
in
the
sea.
Many
fishes
have
no
eyes.
Some
have
big
eyes.
A
few
have
eyes
on
one
side.
Besides
the
cold
and
the
darkness,
deep-sea
animals
face
a
third
danger―
other
animals.
Animals
eat!
They
must
find
food
to
eat.
Many
animals
eat
plants.
However,
some
animals
eat
meat.
This
means
these
sea
animals
have
two
big
jobs.
They
need
to
find
animals
as
food,
and
they
have
to
try
not
to
become
other
animals’
meal.
56.
Why
do
people
want
to
dive
in
the
sea?
A.
Because
they
want
to
catch
fish.
B.
Because
they
want
to
find
the
secrets
of
the
undersea
world.
C.
Because
the
sea
is
deep.
D.
Because
there
are
all
kinds
of
plants
in
the
sea.
57.
In
the
daytime,
when
you
dive
in
the
sea,
you
________.
A.
can’t
see
anything
bright
B.
can’t
be
in
danger
C.
can
catch
nothing
D.
can
see
everything
is
green
and
blue
58.

to
the
writer,

deep
sea?

One.
B.
Two.
C.
Three.
D.
Four.
59.
When
you

scuba
diving,
you

A.
stay
in
deep
water
for
a
long
time
B.

very,
very
deep
C.
live
in
deep
water
safely
D.
dive
freely
without
any
dangers
60.
According
to
the
passage,

of
the
following
is
WRONG?
A.
One
animal
finds
something
to

and
it
may
be
eaten
by

B.
Animals
in
the
sea
must
find
food

第四部分
写作
(共两节,满分30分)
第一节
阅读表达(共5小题;
每小题2分,满分10分)
阅读短文,并按照题目要求用英语回答问题。
Have
you
ever
picked
a
job
based
on
the
fact
that
you
were
good
at
it
but
later
found
it
made
you
feel
very
uncomfortable
over
time?
When
you
select
your
career,
there’s
a
lot
more
about
it
than
assessing
your
skills
and
matching
them
with
a
particular
position.
If
you
ignore
your
personality,
it
will
hurt
you
in
the
long
term
regardless
of
your
skills
or
the
job’s
pay.
There
are
several
areas
of
your
personality
that
you
need
to
consider
to
help
you
find
a
good
job.
Here
are
a
few
of
those
main
areas:
1)
Do
you
prefer
working
alone
or
with
other
people?
There
are
isolating(独立完成的)
jobs
that
will
drive
an
outgoing
person
crazy
and
also
interactive
jobs
that
will
make
a
shy
person
uneasy.
Most
people
are
not
extremes
in
either
direction
but
do
have
a
tendency
that
they
prefer.
There
are
also
positions
that
are
sometimes
a
combination
of
the
two,
which
may
be
best
for
someone
in
the
middle
who
adapts
easily
to
either
situation.
2)
How
do
you
handle
changes?
Most
jobs
these
days
have
some
elements
of
changes
to
them,
but
some
have
more
than
others.
If
you
need
stability(稳定)in
your
life,
you
may
need
a
job
where
the
changes
don’t
happen
so
often.
Other
people
would
be
bored
of
the
same
daily
routine.
3)What
type
of
work
environment
do
you
enjoy?
This
can
range
from
being
in
a
large
building
with
a
lot
of
people
you
won’t
know
immediately
to
a
smaller
setting
where
you’ll
get
to
know
almost
all
the
people
there
fairly
quickly.
Anyway,
these
are
great
starting
points
for
you.
I’ve
seen
it
over
and
over
again
with
people
that
they
make
more
money
over
time
when
they
do
something
they
love.
It
may
take
you
a
little
longer,
but
making
a
move
to
do
what
you
have
a
passion
for
can
change
the
course
of
your
life
for
the
better.
66.
What
is
the
best
title
for
this
passage?
(no
more
than
10
words)
67.
What
is
the
meaning
of
the
underlined
word
“uneasy”
in
Paragraph
2?
(1
word)
68.
If
you
need
stability
in
your
life,
what
kind
of
job
will
you
require?
(no
more
than
10
words)
69.
According
to
the
writer,
what
can
make
people
make
more
money?
(no
more
than
10
words)
70.
Which
area
do
you
think
is
the

one
during

Why?

Yeah,
I
want

China.
My
friend
Jim
went
there

year
and
visited
many
places
of
interest.
But
what
I
want
to
do
is
learn
its
culture
and
its
language,
because
it's
a
country
with
a
long
history,
so
I
will
be
there
for
the
next
two
years.
What
about
you?
What's
your

W:
I
want
to
meet
some
new

do
something
fun.
M:
Like

W:
I
don't

Maybe
I
need
a
hobby.
M:
Well,
what
do
you
like
to
do?
W:
I
love
to
dance.
I'd
like
to

M:
Then
you

W:
Good

W:
Hi,
Mark.
What
did
you
do
last
summer?
M:
I
had
a
job
in
a
shop
last
summer
and
I
loved
it.
It
was
a
shoe
shop
in
the
town
center.
I
had
to
work
long
hours
but
I
met
some
really
nice
people
and
I
made
a
lot
of
money.
I
will
use
it
to
buy
a
car
when
I
go
to
college
next
year.
W:
Wow.
That's
great.
You've
begun
to
make
preparations
for
college
life.
Hopefully
we'll
still
study
together.
M:
I
hope
so.
Well,
how
did
you
spend
your
summer
holiday?
W:
I
worked
in
a
clothes
shop
during
the
summer
holiday,
but
I
didn't
like
it.
I
had
to
work
from
8
a.m.
until
6
p.m.
and
it
made
me
feel
tired.
M:
Why
don't
you
find
a
job
in
a
bookshop?
It's
easy
and
interesting.
W:
I
don't
know
about
working
in
a
bookshop.
Maybe
I
can
try
next
time.
(Text

W:
Hi,
I'm
Sandra
and
I'm
one
of
your
activity
leaders.
I
would
like
to
welcome
you
all
to
Sun
and
Sea
Summer
Camp.
I
would
just
like
to
explain
a
little
about
the
camp
program.
The
camp
is
built
in
a
traditional
village
style.
It
has
very
large
rooms
with
a
fridge,
TV,
air-conditioning
and
all
other
useful
equipment.
It
can
comfortably
hold
4
people.
The
Sun
and
Sea
Camp
welcomes
up
to
20
children,
aged
12-17.
In
the
morning,
there
are
2
programs
to
choose
from:
the
Adventure
Camp
and
the
English
Language
Camp.
After
the
morning
activities
and
lessons
have
finished
it's
time
for
a
healthy
lunch.
After
lunch
there
is
a
rest
time
during
the
hottest
hours
of
the
day,
which
is
from
1:
30
p.m.
to
3:
30
p.m.
Then
the
popular
All-camp
meeting
starts
the
afternoons
where
a
series
of
exciting
activities
take
place
in
age
groups.
Every
evening
there
are
special
events
planned.
They
are
mainly
cultural
visits
and
some
of
these
will
certainly
be
among
the
most
interesting
parts
of
your
2-week
experience.
That's
it
for
now.
So,
let
me
get
you
all
to
your
rooms
and
on
to
lunch
so
we
can
all
get
to
know
each
other.
