Unit 6 I’m tall. Lesson 32教学设计
一、教学目标与要求:
1.本课学习形容词long和short,要求正确的听、说、认、读,并能够掌握long在四线格中的规范书写;帮助学生分辨四个形容词big small long short的用法;进一步理解句子A rabbit has long ears and a short tail.。通过对比了解has区别于have的用法,对单复数名词的特征进行初步的学习和运用。
2.通过创设真实的情景,学生能够运用句型…has…来介绍动物的外形和人物的外貌特征。
3.本节课通过小组合作,师生互动,情景创设等形式,让学生感知、模仿、学习、体验,达到自然交流与真实运用的目的;通过小组PK的评价方式,激励学生的学习英语的兴趣和积极性,使学生在英语课程的学习过程中不断体验进步与成功。最终达到提高学生在真实情景中运用英语的能力。
4.在教学过程中 ,努力营造轻松、愉快的学习氛围;通过小组合作,培养其合作精神;激发学生热爱、保护小动物的思想感情。
二、教学重点:
1.让学生能够正确的听、说、认、读long, short;正确书写long。
2. 让学生能够用... has....这个句型来描述动物和人物的外形。
三、教学难点:
让学生能够用... has....这个句型来描述动物和人物的外形;生活中正确运用big small long short。
四、教学方法:
通过角色表演法、创设情境法等,精讲巧练,由浅入深,由易到难,循序渐进地深化教学内容并做适当的扩展。展示以教师为主导,以学生为主体的师生双边活动。
五、教具:
PPT课件,单词卡片,学生准备一个自己喜欢的动物玩具等。
六、教学过程:
放学生们的集体照,伴随歌曲“Shining Friends.”
Before the class, sing“ The opposite song” together.
设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,消除学生们的紧张心理,复习big small为新课学习铺垫。
Step 1.热身/复习( Warm-up/Revision )
(1)Teacher introduces myself : Today we have so many teachers here, are you happy? Do you want to introduce yourself to the teachers? Me too. My name is Rose. I have big eyes. I have a big nose and short hair. Not long hair. And I am short. How about you? (Ss introduce)教师在介绍自己的过程中出示单次卡片long short,试着让学生读出。学生介绍时,教师重复He has…. 练习has的用法。
(2) 导入: Today we are going to learn a new lesson. Lesson 32.(板书课题)
I hope you can introduce your favourite animal or friend after learning Lesson 32 . OK?
(3)分组:Boys and girls ,in this class we have two teams. Long Team and Short Team. You are in one team. Guess your group’s name. (让学生们猜,练习long short的发音)Group leader choose the card (long short). You are Long Team, you are Short Team. Two groups are going to have a match in this class. If you can do a good job, Group leader can move one step. At the end of this class, see which group is the winner. So, boys and girls, let抯 go! Ok?
学生们说:Ok!
教师交代本课任务:T: We have three tasks in this class.
大屏幕出示PPT:
Task 1 Let’s play.
Task 2 Let’s Watch.
Task 3 Let’s show.
设计意图:学生教师向听课老师们介绍自己, 使学生的情绪得以放松,轻松地复习have has 用法,自然进入到本课学习中,激发学生的学习热情,同时自然分组、自然引入本课新词。学生们明确本课任务。
(4)Two groups PK words and sentences.(过程中,师生进行小组评价。)

小组进行比赛,同学们评价。
设计意图:以游戏比赛的形式复习单词的正确朗读,运用单词说句子,让孩子们在玩的过程中为新课学习做好准备。小组都能正确读出这些词,奖励“一步”,对句子说的情况也进行奖励。
?Step 2.新授( Presentation )
1. PPT出示对话情景图:T:Boys and girls, before watching the video of Lesson 32, look at a picture. Two girls are in the picture. Who are they? (Li Yan and Lisa) Today Lisa comes to Li Yan’s home. They are talking about animals. What’s this in English?(教师指兔子) ,What’s this in English?(教师指猴子) ,What animals are they talking about? Let’s watch the video, then answer the question.
PPT:What animals are they talking about?
?2. Watch listen and answer:
What animals are they talking about? A rabbit and a monkey.
设计意图:让学生带着问题听课文录音,紧密联系听音内容,适做到有的放矢;按组别奖励每组学生,让学生积极参与到活动中来,激发学生团体合作的意识和学习兴趣。
3. Watch the video again, then fill in the blanks.
PPT: A rabbit has _______ ears and a _________ tail.
A monkey has a big mouth and a _________ tail.
4. To teach the new word “short” “long” and the new sentences:
(1)Show the picture of Rabbit: Look at the monkey. It has a long tail. Now, look at the tail. Long or short? (long) Teach long. It has a long tail. (板书long) Ss repeat this word several times.
(2)Teach the word ‘short’ and the sentence ‘It has a short tail.’ in the same way.
(3)出示“long, short ” 在四线三格中的Ppt 。学生跟着教师正确书写。
(4)Practice the sentence in pairs.
A rabbit has long ears and a short tail. (板书)
Ss say it one by one.
Play “time game”. Say the sentence in 30 seconds.
设计意图:教师运用不同的形式教学本课单词与句型,提高趣味性,训练学生的思维能力,达到掌握所学内容的目的。
(5)PPT出示长、短尾巴的动物,学生们快速说出long tail(s)or short tail(s).
(6)Practice the dialogues in pairs. 过渡语:Please open your books on P70. Read the dialogues in pairs. Try to recite it.
设计意图: 在学生展示读对话时,教师播放消音后的课文动画视频,学生看着图像来读对话。用动画做辅助,能更有效地提高学生参与的热情,使他们更乐于参与。
(7)大屏幕PPT出示不同特征的有趣动物图片,让学生用 It has…and…的句型来描述。4幅图大象、小猫、猴子、小兔。自然引出chant。
播放chant视频,让学生先听;然后学生跟着录音说chant,并配合动作。然后,学生Pair work 练习,小组展示。
设计意图: 选择本课chant中动物的图片,让学生运用big, small, long和short这四个形容词来练习描述动物的外形。从而自然引出本课chant,让学生观看chant动画视频,提高学生参与本课学习的热情。
设计意图: 训练学生的思维能力。
(9)学生们打开书,自己读书,教师巡视指导。
设计意图: 回到书本,检测学生们是否会读所学内容。
(8)Play a game.

每组各派一名学生问,两组各选一名答。教师先示范,学生然后开始游戏。

设计意图:通过创设公众人物进课堂的教学情境,由描述动物的外形拓展到描述人的外形,在巩固新知的同时又使语言得以有效运用,对学生进行爱国、爱科学,幸福生活的情感教育。
欣赏祖国美丽河山的图片。(伴随音乐:我爱你中国)
一名学生说出自己小动物的特征,二名学生在黑板上画出。其他同学在练习纸上闭眼睛画。(此项内容,根据课堂内容进行调整。)
设计意图:学生通过描述自己喜欢的动物的外形或同学的外貌,使学生感觉知识贴近于生活,结合已学的知识,能综合运用所学的语言。画出学生描述出的动物,训练学生的听力,提高学习英语的情趣。欣赏祖国美丽图片,增强爱国情感。
