一、教材分析
本单元主要学习学科的表达和一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式;学习用because和描述性的形容词表示理由;学习what,why,who引导的特殊疑问句。本单元围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题,设计了三个任务型活动:任务一是:谈论自己所喜欢的学科,学习what引导的特殊疑问句和学科的表达;任务二是:一分钟演讲,让学生介绍自己喜欢某一学科的理由,学习why等特殊疑问句;任务三是:写信,巩固和延伸所学知识,掌握星期的表达方式。
二、学情分析:
初一的学生,已有一定的英语基础,也学过了一些有关学科和星期的词汇,只是学生英语水平参差不齐,在课程的安排上要兼顾不同层次的学生,既不能只拔高,也不能太局限于书本。应该使较差的学生能掌握教材要求掌握的词汇和句型,使基础不错的学生对初步学得的语言知识和运用语言的能力进行及时的反复刺激,形成新的语言习惯,提高综合运用语言的能力。
三、教学目标
1、总体目标:
a. 学会谈论自己喜爱的学科并给出理由。
b. 学会自己喜爱的其他东西并给出理由。
c. 学会按顺序说出一周七天的名称。
d. 学会合理安排自己的作息时间。
2、 知识目标
a. 学习、理解、掌握和运用下列单词:
有关学科:subject, math, science, history, P.E, biology
有关星期:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
相关的形容词:fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing.
其它单词because, teacher, Mr., Mrs., example, city, busy, strict, tired.

3、 一周七天的表达法。
难点:1、表达学科特点的形容词的意义和读音。
2、人称代词和物主代词的正确运用。
3、如何用所学句型进行综合运用。
五、学习策略:
自主学习 合作学习 探究学习。 注重学生学习成为一种自觉行为的学习观,把学习的主动权真正还给学生。同桌之间、搭档之间、小组之间相互交谈,相互讨论,相互切磋,实现生生互动,在探究式的合作学习中,学生会获得平等的交谈权利,他们相互交谈、相互尊重,即充满了温情和友爱,又体现互动与竞争充分提高了学生的英语交际能力。
六、课时安排 4课时
第一课时:Section A 1a ~ 2d
教学目标:学会询问和谈论别人或自己喜好的学科并给出理由。
情感目标:本节课的学习内容贴近学生的学习生活,谈论的话题是喜欢的学科。通过互相询问和谈论彼此所喜欢的学科,可以增进同学之间的了解和友情并培养学生热爱学习、热爱科学的思想和良好的学习、生活习惯。
重点难点:重点:学习“询问和谈论别人或自己喜好的学科并给出理由”。
难点:What,Why引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用。
教学准备:教师准备:制作课件,并设计相应的巩固练习。
学生准备: 准备一份班级的课程表;制作一份英语课程表。
教学过程:
一、Lead in :
提前准备一些时令水果,像西红柿,香蕉,草莓,橘子等, 把他们摆放在讲桌上, 教师拿起自己喜爱的一种水果说What’s this in English It’s a/an … I like it . It’s my favorite fruit. My favorite fruit is …然后询问学生Do you like it What’s your favorite fruit 老师在拿出一本英语书说:I like English , It’s my favorite subject. What’s your favorite subject Today we are going to learn something about our favorite .引出课题。
二、New teaching:
1、用多媒体或投影呈现图片:Try to guess what subject it is
引出科目:, math, Chinese, English, science. P.E., art, music, history, biology
把有关的学科单词列举在黑板和屏幕上,领读,然后让学生读。
2、老师提问How many subjects do you have at school 学生一个个答出来,屏幕上显示。学生记忆单词。
