1. I saw you play basketball almost every day during the summer holidays.我看见你暑假期间几乎每天都打篮球。
during the summer holidays 在暑假期间 此处during表示“在……期间”,相当于in 。
【辨析】during, for
during强调事件在什么期间发生,for则用于描述动作或状态延续的时间。如:
I stayed in London for a week. 我呆在伦敦一周了。(此句强调呆在伦敦的时间长短,不能用during。)
2. Would you like to come and cheer us on 你愿意来为我们加油吗?
Cheer sb. on (以欢呼)激励某人,为某人加油,向某人欢呼
如果后面接名词,放在cheer on的中间和后面都可以;如果后面接人称代词,则必须放在中间。如:
Our friends will cheer us on. 我们的朋友会为我们加油的。
3. I hope our team will win. 我希望我们队获胜。
(1)hope 常用于以下两种结构:
① hope to do sth. 希望做某事 如:
Betty hopes to study Chinese in Peking Univesity.贝蒂希望在北京大学学中文。
② hope + that从句,that 可以省略。如:
I hope (that) you’re coming to the party.我希望你来参加聚会。
I hope it will be fine tomorrow. 我希望明天是个好天气。
(2)win赢,赢得 可做及物动词或不及物动词。过去式为won,名词形式为winner(胜利者)。
4. Which sport do you prefer, cycling or rowing 骑车和划船,你更喜欢哪种运动?
prefer更喜欢,相当于like…better。Which sport do you prefer=Which sport do you like better
【注意】prefer的过去式双写r再加ed,即preferred。Prefer常用于以下两种结构:
prefer doing/to do sth. 更喜欢/宁愿做某事 如:
Do you prefer watching/to watch TV at home 你宁愿在家看电视吗?
Prefer…to…比起……更喜欢…… 注意此处to为介词,prefer 和to后接名词、代词或动名词。如:
I prefer bananas to apples. 比起苹果我更喜欢香蕉。
5.Are you going to join the school rowing club 你要加入学校划船俱乐部吗?
Be going to 结构,表示即将要发生的事、有迹象表明会发生的事或打算、计划、决定要做的事;它的一般疑问句形式是直接把be动词提到句首。如:
I’m going to play soccer tomorrow. 我打算明天踢足球。

1. What are you going to be when you grow up 你长大后想当什么?
(1)grow过去式为grew, 作“生长”讲时为不及物动词,作“植物”讲时为及物动词。如:
I grew some vegetables in the garden but they didn’t grow much after one month. 我在花园里种了一些蔬菜,但一个月后它们没长多少。
(2)grow up 长大成人 如:
When I grow up, I want to work in Shenzhen. 长大后,我想去深圳工作。
(3)此句为be going to表示一般将来时的特殊疑问句句式。其结构为:特殊疑问词+be+主语+going to+动词原形+其他+?如:
What are you going to do next month 下个月你将干什么?
Where are they going to meet next month 下个月他们将在哪儿见面?
2. He is one of the best runners in the word. 他是世界上最优秀的运动员之一。
one of 后接名词复数,表示“……当中的一个”。作主语时,谓语动词用单数。如:
One of my best friends lives in Beijing. 我一个最好的朋友住在北京。
3. He broke the Olympic record and won a gold medal in 2004 Athens Olympics. 他在2004年雅典奥运会上打破了奥运会记录,并获得了一枚金牌。

【链接】break打破,弄坏 过去式为broke,过去分词为broken。Broken 常用作形容词,意为“弄坏了的”。如: My bike is broken. 我的自行车坏了。

这是一个感叹句,这种句式用来表示喜、怒、哀、乐等强烈感情。如:
