四、阅读理解(每小题2.5分,共10分)
We
were
on
the
way
from
Hutchinson
to
Chicago
for
a
short
spring
break.
For
many
years
I
had
wanted
to
take
my
family
on
the
train.
We
all
went
to
Chicago
four
years
ago,
and
the
kids
loved
it.
Chicago
is
one
of
my
favorite
cities,
too,
so
the
thought
struck
me
again
last
fall
to
ride
the
train
to
Chicago.
Of
course,
flying
would
have
been
faster.
But
I
don't
think
flying
is
easier,
especially
these
days,
with
all
the
security
and
waiting
in
lines
at
airports.
Though
we
were
tired
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
the
kids
got
on
the
train
with
the
exhilaration
of
this
adventure.
“We're
moving,”
my
son
William
shouted
happily
with
big
eyes
as
the
train
began
to
pull
away
from
the
Hutchinson
station.
I
removed
my
shoes
and
lay
down
to
try
to
finish
my
night's
sleep.
The
sleeper
car
would
have
better
enabled
that,
but
the
ordinary
train
seats
were
not
too
bad.
An
airline
flight
is
a
more
miserable
experience
for
me:not
enough
room,
two
hours
of
pain
with
my
knees
almost
touching
my
chin,
the
hard
seatback
in
front
cracking
my
kneecaps
(膝盖)
with
every
move
of
the
body
planted
in
front
of
me.
On
the
train
I
could
almost
outstretch
all
of
my
6?foot?2?plus
body
in
the
generous
legroom.
The
journey
didn't
feel
at
all
as
long
as
it
was.
We
all
found
the
train
ride
a
joy.
The
car
ride
would
have
felt
every
minute
of
13
hours.
But
on
the
train
you
are
free
to
walk
around,
sit
in
the
observation
carriage
for
a
while
and
enjoy
the
scenery
out
the
windows,
have
a
nice
meal
in
the
dining
car,
read
a
book,
or
play
a
board
game.
In
short,
the
train
is
all
about
enjoying
the
trip,
which
isn't
something
I
do
so
much
when
travelling
by
airline
or
by
car,
when
the
trip
seems
more
of
a
mission(任务)
to
get
there
than
an
experience
to
enjoy
along
the
way.
Chicago
offers
much
to
do
for
a
family.
This
time,
getting
there
was
half
the
fun.
26.We
can
learn
from
the
first
paragraph
that
.
A.the
kids
love
the
train
journey
B.it
was
the
first
time

the
kids
were
taken
on
the

enjoy

journey
D.Chicago
is

journey?

五、七选五(每小题2.5分,共10分)
With
the
development
of
the
tourist
industry,
traveling
has
become
a
fashionable
way
for
people
to
spend
their
holiday.
Most
people
like
traveling
with
friends
or
families.
30
Here
are
some
advantages
of
traveling
alone.
★
31
If
you
travel
alone,
you
are
the
boss
of
yourself.
You
can
do
things
according
to
your
own
timetable.
You
can
decide
freely
whenever
you
go,
wherever
you
visit
and
whichever
transport
you
take.
You
don't
need
to
wait
for
your
partners.
You
can
decide
how
long
you
stay
at
a
place
and
which
hotel
you
live
in.
Traveling
alone
gives
you
more
freedom
in
making
decisions.
★Gaining
more
confidence,
strength
and
learning
new
skills.
It
is
a
great
challenge
to
be
alone
on
the
road.
When
you
travel
alone
you
might
face
some
problems,
make
decisions
and
even
meet
some
dangers
on
your
own.
All
these
challenges
will
make
you
stronger,
braver
and
much
more
confident.
32
★Getting
to
know
more
people.
Traveling
alone
does
not
mean
that
you
will
always
be
alone.
In
fact,
both
other
tourists
and
local
people
will
be
friendly
to
you.
In
order
to
know
more
about
the
places
you
are
traveling
to,
you
have
to
communicate
with
strangers.
In
this
way,
you
can
know
more
people.
33
Instead,
the
guide
or
your
group
members
will
talk
with
you
all
the
way.
★Finding
out
your
shortcomings.
34
When
you
are
traveling
with
your
friends
and
family
members,
it’s
hard
for
you
to
find
out
your
shortcoming.
While
traveling
alone,
you'll
find
that
you
can't
achieve
many
things
without
others'
help.
After
traveling
alone,
you
are
sure
to
become
better
by
leaving
your
shortcomings
behind.
A.Having
more
freedom.
B.Enjoying
what
you
like.
C.However,
it's
also
a
good
idea
to
travel
alone.
D.The
purpose
of
traveling
alone
is
to
make
friends
on
the
way.
E.
Traveling
alone
is
a
great
chance
for
you
to
discover
your
disadvantages.
F.
If
you
travel
in
groups
you’ll
have
very
little
need
to
communicate
with
strangers.
G.
When
traveling
on
your
own
you
can
also
learn
many
skills,
for
example,
making
plans.
六、完形填空(每小题1.5分,共30分)
For
more
than
20
years
I
have
been
traveling
the
world,
preferring
often
to
spend
a
year
or
two
in
different
countries
35
to
just
visit
as
a
tourist.
It
has
become
a
big
part
of
my
identity
as
an
adult
and
shaped
36
I
see
the
world
and
myself.
My
first
37
of
this
amazing
life
was
when
I
was
19
years
old.
I
was
38
among
a
small
group
of
college
classmates
to
spend
a
year
abroad.
This
was
long
before
people
could
travel
the
world
39
through
social
media
like
Facebook,
Instagram
and
Weibo.
In
order
to
see
a
place,
you
had
to
go
there
and
40
it
firsthand.
Living
abroad
can
be
exciting.
I
thought
it
would
be
41
because
I
spoke
the
language,
but
I
enjoyed
the
little
differences
between
the
British
and
American
culture
and
language.
For
instance,
instead
of
42
the
British
called
it
“rubbish”;
instead
of
favor
they
spelled
it
“favour”.
But
there
were
also
43
that
year
too.
One
of
my
classes
was
called
“Europe
Since
1870”.
In
the
U.S.,
I
would
have
expected
an
introductory
history
class,
but
in
England,
I
was
44
to
have
already
known
the
history;
now
was
the
time
to
analyze
it.
That
45
I
not
only
had
to
learn
the
history
as
I
went
along,
but
also
I
had
to
try
to
write
a
paper
explaining
why
certain
events
happened
as
they
did.
I
know
now
that
I
was
thrown
into
the
deep
46
,
in
a
completely
different
and
far
more
challenging
environment,
and
it
was
natural
that
I
wouldn’t
understand
everything
easily.
Despite
this,
I
don’t
47
anything
about
my
time
in
London.
Even
48
painful
experiences,
we
learn
to
grow.
49
the
difficult
times
made
me
sad
and
homesick.
But
luckily
that
was
not
as
important
as
the
amazing
experience
I
had
getting
to
know
people
from
all
over
the
world.
I
met
dozens
of
interesting
people
from
places
like
France,
Greece
and
Germany
in
Europe,
to
Rwanda,
Palestine
and
Australia.
Learning
how
to
make
friends
with
people
from
different
cultures
and
backgrounds
was
really
fun,
and
these
new
friends
helped
put
a(n)
50
to
the
countries
they
represented
(代表).
As
I
finished
the
51
year,
I
was
torn
inside
about
leaving
London
after
such
a
life-changing
experience.
I
learned
so
much
about
myself
as
a
young
woman
and
a(n)
52
.
When
I
53
to
my
college
for
my
final
year,
friends
and
professors
saw
a(n)
54
me.
I
had
more
maturity
and
self-awareness
that
I
hadn’t
had
before.
It
was
just
the
beginning
of
a
future
of
world
travel
and
a
love
of
different
people
and
cultures.

6.

7.

8.

9.

10.

二、单项选择(每小题2分,共20分)
11.【答案】A
【解析】因为是周一早晨经常做的动作,应该用一般现在时,my
father是单数第三人称,所以选A。
12.【答案】A
【解析】在时间状语从句和条件状语从句中,常使用一般现在时代替一般将来时。before引导的是时间状语从句,所以用一般现在时。句意:在你忘记之前最好把他的电话号码写下来。故选A。
13.【答案】B
【解析】第一空:火车要开了,因为火车开车是近期按时间安排进行的,所以用现在进行时表示将来;第二空火车的开车严格按时间表安排的动作常用一般现在时表示。所以选B。
14.【答案】A
【解析】现在进行时和always连用,表示不满或批评的感彩。
15.【答案】C
【解析】by
the
time引导时间状语从句,要用一般现在时代替将来时。A项与D项都表示将来时;B项是将来完成时,均不符合本题条件。故选C。
16.【答案】C
【解析】答句句意为“好的,我就要讲到这一内容。”用进行时表将来。
17.【答案】A
【解析】句意:史密斯先生和他的两个学生此刻正在认真地做实验。as
well
as“和;也”,此处连接两个并列主语,谓语动词的数应与前面的主语Mr.
Smith
保持一致。根据时间状语at
the
moment可知应用现在进行时,故A项正确。
18.【答案】C
【解析】over
the
years意思是“这些年来”,指从过去某时到现在,多与现在完成时连用,所以选C。句意:这些年来,这位著名演员与好几个导演合作过。
19.【答案】D
【解析】根据回答的人所说的可知,他昨天买的收音机,现在不工作了,所以来找店家交涉。如果昨天不工作,他就不会买了;这里指收音机不响了这个事实,不涉及它是否有这个能力,所以不能选C。故选D。
20.【答案】A
【解析】taste是系动词,表示“尝起来”,表示药的特点:尝起来难吃,用一般现在时,不用现在进行时,也没有被动语态,所以选A。
