本课分析
本节课是一节听说课。课文首先通过节日的相关图片向学生展示国外的传统节日Halloween,由此引出万圣节的名称以及与万圣节活动相关的重点词汇短语、以及重点句型。话题贴近于学生的实际生活，学生容易接受，有学习的兴趣。整个教学活动设计由浅入深，层层递进，逐步引导学生完成教学任务。这是本单元第三课时，经过前两个课时的学习，学生对谈论节日及相关活动有一定了解。基本掌握了听、说、读、写的方法。本课时提高了运用目标语言的难度，要求学生熟练运用目标语言描述喜欢的某个节日及活动。
学情分析
通过本单元前两课的学习,学生进一步掌握中国传统节日的专属用语。而且对于本课时的学习内容Halloween,大部分学生已经有了一定的了解，而且中外节日是学生比较感兴趣的话题，这是学习本课的优势。教师可以鼓励同学通过阅读、查阅相关书籍或网络信息了解西方节日文化，减轻因背景文化积累不足可能带来的学习压力。
