定冠词the用在名词前，表示特指两方
都知道的人或物。
如：
the bookcase指的是两人都看到的那个
书架。the desk指的是双方都看到的那
张书桌。

不定冠词的使用
不定冠词用在名词前指第一次提到的某
人或某物，不定冠词具有“某一个”的意
思，但并不强调数量，如第一次提到的
a baseball。当再次提到这个人或物时应
该用定冠词，表示特指第一次提到的那
个人或物。如：
① - I have a new book.
我有一本新书。
- Can I look at the new book?
我可以看看那本新书吗？
(the new book 是指第一次提到的
a new book)
② Your book is on the teacher’s desk.
这里的desk指两个人都知道的那个
桌子。
2. “Where is＋单数主语，Where are＋复数主语”，谓语动词用is还是are取决于主语的人称和数。如果主语是人，回答时用相应的人称代词主格作主语；如果主语是单数物品，回答时用“It’s + 表示地点的词”；如果主语是复数物品，回答时用“They’re + 表示地点的词”。

3. 方位介词 in, on, under
① in 表示 “在……里面”，强调某物在另一物体的内部。
e.g. My books are in my schoolbag.
我的书都在书包里。
② on 表示“在……上面”，强调某物在另一物体的表面上，并且跟物体接触。
e.g. My pencils are on the desk.
我的铅笔在桌子上。
The photos are on the wall.
照片在墙上。
③ under指“在……下面”，是介词表示方位，用于名词或代词前，这时名词或代词称为介词的宾语。介词后面的人称要用宾格形式。例如：
-- Where is my pencil?
我的铅笔在哪里？
-- It is under your notebook.
它在你的笔记本下面。
-- Look at the girl! A ring is under her.
看那个女孩！一枚戒指在她下面。
