学情分析和设计思路
学生在小学时接触过there be 句型的肯定句和一般疑问句,在starter部分学习了不带地点状语的there be句型的特殊疑问句形式,学生会更易于理解句子含义。there be句型是常用句型,也是易错点,与中文的表达习惯存在差异,农村校学生基础较薄弱,他们在正确运用句型进行表达和发音上会存在障碍,因此本课要创设更多机会帮助学生多说多练,在合作中互相激励帮助,在游戏中快乐练习与表达,在相对真实的语言环境中提高学生用there be表达的能力,通过背诵来提高学生的听说能力和知识的掌握,此外,答题器可以及时反馈学生答题情况,有助于教师调整教学,给薄弱生更多的帮助,从而使教学更有针对性。这样不仅能够促进学生学习,也有助于树立学生的自信。

Step1 Pre-listening

1. Watch a video and answer a question.
What抯 the video about? Watch the video and answer the question.
用视频引入新课,引发学生思考,激发学习兴趣。
2. Present “There is/ are” Listen, think and say. 帮助学生理解there
be 句型的含义和用法。
3. Drills--“Memory King”.
Show students a picture for 15 seconds and ask students to memorize the objects. (Cover the picture.) Observe and later use “there is/are” to describe the picture. 正确运用“there be”句型是重点也是难点,大量操练有助于强化。竞赛的方式促进学生积极参与和倾听。
4. Present “Is /Are there…?” by a guessing game. Listen, think and say. 帮助学生理解there
be 句型的一般疑问句。
5. Drills
Ask students to work in pairs and later ask students to practice the sentence structures in competition.

Practice “Is/Are there?” with the help of pictures. First together, then in pairs, later have a competition.
简单操练帮助学生熟练运用重点句型,引导学生注意区分。竞赛游戏帮助学生实现单位时间内更多的练习。

Read in pairs. 朗读文章,进一步加强理解,操练语言。

帮助学生理清文章脉络,降低背诵难度。
4.Summary
Lead students to summarize what we have learned. Try to summarize. 让学生总结重点内容,并为语用打好基础。
5. Task
Work in pairs to talk about their classrooms and record their conversations. Show some later.

创造较为真实的语言环境运用语言,体验成功。运用ipad录像,学生更感兴趣,也方便教师课后观看,下次课再次展示优秀小组作为复习,也便于发现问题并进行解决。
6. Feedback
Ask students to do exercise on handouts. Finish the feedback. Check their answers with answering machines. 反馈学生的学习情况,发现问题,并在下一节课中重点解决。第三次使用答题器。
