1.This festival is on the 15th of the first month of the lunar calendar（阴历）, is the first full moon of the year.
Hanging（悬挂）and looking at lanterns is the main tradition. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are displayed（展示） on trees, or along river banks.
The most important thing to do today is to eat sweet dumplings. In northern China, sweet dumplings made of glutinous（粘的） rice flour are called “元宵” while in southern part they are called “汤圆”
2.This festival literally means "clear" (Qing) and "bright" (Ming), it falls in early spring, on the 106th day after the winter solstice（冬至）.
It is a "spring" festival, and it is a period for the whole family to leave the home and to pay respect（示以敬意） to one's deceased ancestors（逝去的祖先） and family members.
3.This festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar.
For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice（糯米）wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed leaves) and racing dragon boats.
The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races,This regatta（赛舟会）commemorates（纪念） the death of Qu Yuan.
4.This festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar.
It is a time for family members and loved ones to get together and enjoy the full moon, a saying goes, "The moon in your hometown is almost always the brightest and roundest".
How happy it is to enjoy the moon cakes while watching the full moon with your family members at this festival.
