get ready for意为“为……作好准备”,其后常跟名词。

另外,get ready to do sth.意为“准备好做某事”,可以和get ready for sth.进行互换。
e.g. Susan is getting ready to sleep. = Susan is getting ready for sleep.

at work是一个固定短语,意为“在工作”,相当于be working。
