本课为外研版八年级上册第三模块第一单元，本模块以学生熟悉和喜爱的体育运动为主题，结合了学校体育活动的开展及奥运会的相关内容，便于开展课堂活动，也易于激发学生的学习兴趣。第一单元通过大明、托尼、贝蒂三人在家观看电视足球比赛节目时的一段对话，对比了他们各自对观看比赛和参加比赛的感受，以自然的语境导入了部分双音节和多音节形容词的比较级的表达方式。
【学情分析】：
本次教学的对象是八年级学生，他们对英语学习有较浓厚的兴趣和热情。他们活泼、好动、好奇心强、模仿和记忆力强，表现欲和自尊心强。希望得到老师和同学们的认可和赞扬。且他们喜欢追随新鲜事物，对谈论自己和他人喜欢的体育运动感兴趣。在上一模块的教学中学生已经对形容词的比较级的基本规则有了初步的了解，但对于一些较长的单词及副词并没有涉及。本模块延续了这一教学内容，将比较级的知识进行更系统和完整的学习。消除学生心中存在的一些疑惑从而更加透彻的掌握这一知识点。

(1)掌握词汇：baseball, volleyball, boring, exciting, relaxing…
(2)掌握句型：It’s more difficult to practice in winter. This year
we’re passing more carefully. 以及一些口语表达句式。
(3)学会用more加上形容词的原型构成比较级的用法；学会使用副词的比较级。
2.过程与方法：由图片到文字，由单词到句型，由繁到简，教学难度和深度层层推进，为教学的顺利进行打好基础。
3.情感态度与价值观：
(1)通过教学使学生知道体育运动的重要性，培养学生对体育锻炼的热爱。

教学反思 本课时的教学由图片导入，能够带给学生新鲜感，激发学生的学习兴趣。应注意将语法点多举例子，进行拓展和延伸，注意与之前学过的知识的衔接，提高学生的英语语言运用能力。在比较级的使用中，容易忘记特殊形容词 副词的比较级用法，还需加强关于比较级的专项训练。同时注意纠正学生的语音语调，提高口语表达能力。
