教学过程：
一、课前准备：
1、自学本课单词，注意发音、词性
2、预习课文，标注新单词或难懂句子
3、带齐英语课本、课堂练习本、笔和您灿烂的笑容前来上课 ：）
二、课堂活动：
1、活动背景——在温室效应(Global Warming)影响下，世界各国的天气在一天之内进入冰河世纪（The Ice Age），多个国家温度迅速降到零下20℃。为了拯救本国人民，各国政府派出科学家探险队准备前往中国这最后一片“绿地”去寻找“上帝的礼物”（The Gift of God）。他们分别是England,Australia,Canada和New Zealand。他们相信，谁能最先找到了它，谁的祖国人民就能摆脱严寒，重获阳光宜人的气候。
2、游戏规则——小组竞争，全班分成四个大组，每组13人，每答对一道题加2.5℃。哪个国家能最先到达高温，那个国家就能得到“The Gift of God”。
3、课堂学习
（1）认识温度计和温度的英文读法
（2）看闪图，全组异口同声快而准说出表达气温的句子。
（3）延伸学习气温高低值的读法
（4）学习描述天气的单词和询问天气的三种句型：
What is the weather like today?
What might the weather be like tomorrow?
What will the weather probably be like next month?
（5）看音标，猜单词，全班齐读
（6）听录音，完成课本Activity 1 表格，判断信息正误并纠正，尝试口头上运用might和probably描述天气。
（7）听录音，回答问题，感知课文Activity 4的对话内容。
