教学过程:
一、课前准备:
1、自学本课单词,注意发音、词性
2、预习课文,标注新单词或难懂句子
3、带齐英语课本、课堂练习本、笔和您灿烂的笑容前来上课 :)
二、课堂活动:
1、活动背景——在温室效应(Global Warming)影响下,世界各国的天气在一天之内进入冰河世纪(The Ice Age),多个国家温度迅速降到零下20℃。为了拯救本国人民,各国政府派出科学家探险队准备前往中国这最后一片“绿地”去寻找“上帝的礼物”(The Gift of God)。他们分别是England,Australia,Canada和New Zealand。他们相信,谁能最先找到了它,谁的祖国人民就能摆脱严寒,重获阳光宜人的气候。
2、游戏规则——小组竞争,全班分成四个大组,每组13人,每答对一道题加2.5℃。哪个国家能最先到达高温,那个国家就能得到“The Gift of God”。
3、课堂学习
(1)认识温度计和温度的英文读法
(2)看闪图,全组异口同声快而准说出表达气温的句子。
(3)延伸学习气温高低值的读法
(4)学习描述天气的单词和询问天气的三种句型:
What is the weather like today?
What might the weather be like tomorrow?
What will the weather probably be like next month?
(5)看音标,猜单词,全班齐读
(6)听录音,完成课本Activity 1 表格,判断信息正误并纠正,尝试口头上运用might和probably描述天气。
(7)听录音,回答问题,感知课文Activity 4的对话内容。
