T asks the Ss for advice about transportations. 1.read the learning aims louldly.
2. Listen to the message and try to get the main question.
3. Try to make more sentences about the transportations.
1. 让学生齐读本科目标以便学生对重难点更清晰。2.以贴近生活的话题引入。3. 通过话题引入来复习交通工具并为本节课主问题作铺垫。
Stage II. Pre-- reading (2’) Go on asking the students for help.
To find out the two main questions Tony asked.
Let the students to guess the ways to Amsterdam by the map. Read the online post by Tony, get to know the demands of Tony.
Try to guess the best way to Amsterdam. 整节课的主问题第二次呈现。让学生进行读前猜测,扩充学生思维。
Stage III. Self--learning (5) Q1.How many ways to travel there? What are they?
Q2.What does David think of the four ways?.
T let the students read the answer part silently, and then finish the two questions.
Read the second part silently, and try to finish the two questions on the hand outs.
Step2. 合作共读(10’)
1.Play the video, to help the students correct their pronunciation.
Read with No.2 partner, to understand the passage,and to practise the pronunciation.
Stand up and read in different groups,then finish the mind map.
Ask the students to discuss the answers with their group members.
Task 1. Watch the video first.
Task 2. Read with No. 2 parter.
Task 3. Read aloud in groups, finish the mind map
Task 4. Dicuss with group members.
此环节为文章共读环节。通过看视频纠正发音,帮助理解;和搭档2来共读理解;小组比赛读等环节为后面的mind map 作铺垫,最后小组讨论生成mind map.
Step3. 合作共学 (5’) T asks the Ss work in groups to choose one way to prepare for the retelling part.E.g:
The first way is by train, it’s more relaxing
than by coach,but it’s more expensive .
Work in groups ,and try to retell one or two ways to Amsterdam. According to the first way.
本环节设置为小组活动去内化生成本节重点内容
Stage IV. 合作展学 (13’) Ask the Ss to make a travel plan for themselves.
Give the order to the students, and ask the group leader to divide the task and try to finish it quickly.
Walk around the classroom to find out some problems and give students help at once.
汇报模板:
We can go to Kang Town by car, by taxi or on foot. Traveling by car is the most relaxing way ,but it may be crowded on the road. Travelling by taxi will cost 50 yuan,so it is the most expensive way. Going there on foot is the cheapest way but it will take an hour, so it will be the slowest way. We finally decided to go there on foot because it's the most interesting way.
We hope we will have a great trip!
Work in groups to make a travel plan to Kang Town.According to the order:
1.组长合理分工,4号粘图片,2,3号说句子,1号记录。
2.讨论时声音要低,信息完成后按照选派代表上台汇报。
3.语言要流畅,注意声音洪亮,和表演台风。
4.根据所学内容,其他小组补充和创新。
此环节设置贴合学生生活的“秋游活动”,选择了康巴什的康镇作为目的地,让学生以小组为单位,自行设计出游计划,并以小组形式汇报展示。

Watch the short video carefully, try to get the meanings of the two tips. 本环节为最后的情感渗透,本着学科育人,提高学生核心素养的理念,加入了两个情感教育:一为鼓励学生热爱祖国大好河山或到国外看眼界,因为身体和灵魂必须有一个在路上。二是安全教育,无论选择哪一种出行方式,安全是最重要的。
Stage VI. Summary (1’)
Ask the students to look at the blackboard to summaries what they learned today, lead in the title of Unit 2: What is the best way to travel.
Answer the question:
What did you learn today?
Lead in the title of Unit2 to summaries today’s lesson. 让学生通过看黑板的关键点,总结今天的收获,同时把今天的模块题目和单元题目呈现,正好可以总结今天所学。
