一、教学内容分析
本模块以老舍以及老舍茶馆为话题，介绍了作家老舍、老舍茶馆以及话剧《茶馆》等相关内容，借此让学生了解这位在中国文坛中有着重要影响的作家，从而更好地对学生进行爱国主义教育。
二、教学目标
语言知识能:正确运用本单元的单词和短语：act, show, common, twentieth, describe, society, head teacher, college, novel, name, if, magic
语言技能:能读懂介绍作家老舍及其作品《老舍》为主要内容的短文。
语言运用：1、运用阅读策略获取信息，以思维导图的形式记录时间发 生顺序。
2、能运用阅读策略获取信息，并能 回答文章中的问题。
文化策略： 通过观看视频，了解有关老舍生平，了解中国传统文化，概述原文。
情感态度：培养学生对话剧等中国传统文化的兴趣和热爱，增强其民族自豪感。
学习策略：通过小组协作，用思维导图获取信息。

三、学习者特征分析
八年级上的学生已具有一定的词汇量，但阅读能力欠缺，需要教者耐心。 有少数学生对英语失去兴趣，学习起来热情欠缺，需要用多种方式激发课堂学习热情。
现代的孩子对中国传统文化了解的渠道有限，所以知识欠缺。
四、教学策略选择与信息技术融合的设计

通过短片与图片引导学生进入本单元的课文，既可以活跃课堂气氛，.也能使学生对老舍先生有进一步的认识，还训练了学生的反应。并在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。
