I.教材分析
?本课时外研版八年级英语上册的第七模块第二单元的第一课时。本模块对本模块话题具有拓展和巩固的作用,通过对话对Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland 内容的回顾了解这个故事的开头部分,因为文章内容是是关于一个著名的故事,所以学生也会较感兴趣。 本单元的重点句型而是以一般过去进行时的 “主语+was/were+doing”和一般过去时为主,观察故事所用时态一般过去时并能在在自己写故事时正确应用时态。
II、学情分析
七年级一年的初中英语学习让孩子已经适应初中读写课的主要任务,通过快速阅读和细读读,掌握文章大意和细节。不过,作为八年级学生,进入青春期,大部分的学生对学习英语虽然有较大热情,可是不太愿意主动表达。只有少数学生表达较好的学生,愿意在课堂上用英语表达想法,所以老师要多多鼓励学生们勇敢说英语。
III.Teaching objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: Understand the main idea and the sequence of events through fast reading and careful reading.
know the use and meaning of the past continuous and the past tense when write a story.
realize and share the importance and meaning of reading after reading .

To get specific information through reading . Use the past tense to write a short passage about what happened after Alice fell down a hole .

Greet the students as usual. Tell a dream that the teacher had last night and tell students what was happening at night in the dream. ?Greet the teacher.

Look at a picture and discuss what is strange about the rabbit. Discuss and voice their ideas.
Step 3.While- reading.

Para2:number the order of the statements).
Students open the books, read and finish the tasks on the paper.
After finishing them, try to tell the answers. Read the passage with questions to get the main idea anmd details
Step 3.Post-reading
1.Enjoy a video abou the start of Alice in Wonderland and try to retell the start part. 2.Writing
Try to go on the story according to the start Watch the video and retell according to the key words.
Discuss what happened next and write down. Then ,some of them will be invited to share the story they write. Let their imagination fly.
Step4. Summary
Talk about if they like reading stories and why. Realize and share the importance and meaning of reading.

1.Write one of your unforgettable experiences in the past..
2. Retell the story about Alice. Goodbye the teacher. Consolidate what we learn about the story and the past tense.
