一、教材分析
本课以童话故事《爱丽丝漫游奇境》为主题，通过对故事内容的叙述，进一步学习过去进行时的用法，使学生在了解故事的同时掌握过去进行时的表达方式。把语法与故事相结合，采用隐性教学的方式，使学生的无意识的情况下学习、掌握语法，真正做到了语法为语义表达服务。在本篇故事之后还有一个需要学生根据问题排序的写作练习，层层深入，使学生逐步学会用过去进行时来描述过去的事情。
二、教学方法
? 本课内容为学生比较熟悉也比较感兴趣的童话故事，其优点在于可以比较容易地引发学生的兴趣及学习的热情，缺点在于有的学生急于弄清汉语意思，浅尝辄止，不愿深入探究。应该扬长避短，以此为基础，充分调动学生学习的积极性。由于故事性较强，所以我采用了比较直观的教学方法，即多媒体视频与图画相结合，使课文内容更加生动形象，更便于学生理解。
? 在学生观看完视频后再进行课文疏通与讲解，并对重点短语与句型反复练习，使形与意相结合。在完全理解课文内容之后，可以进行小组交流与合作，根据图片，介绍故事的主要情节。最后进行交流与展示，并完成相应的实践练习。在课前让学生搜集有名的童话故事，并在小组内分享，看哪个小组找到的最多。

? 本课内容为有名的童话故事，学生很感兴趣，搜集的有关的资料也非常全面。可见，学生对自己感兴趣的话题还是比较乐意去学的。可以以此为契机，鼓励学生多看英文视频材料。毕竟，英语作为一门语言，只有通过大量地接触，反复地练习，才能够形成基本的语感，这要比单纯学习语法知识要有用得多。而且，通过观看英文电影等视频材料，学生可以更好地了解英
语国家的风土人情，提升自己在英语学习方面的素养。但是不要让他们盲目地去看，可以每周为他们精选一到两部英文经典影片，并鼓励他们背诵里面的经典对白，这应该是学习英语的一种有效途径。
