一、教材分析
本课以童话故事《爱丽丝漫游奇境》为主题,通过对故事内容的叙述,进一步学习过去进行时的用法,使学生在了解故事的同时掌握过去进行时的表达方式。把语法与故事相结合,采用隐性教学的方式,使学生的无意识的情况下学习、掌握语法,真正做到了语法为语义表达服务。在本篇故事之后还有一个需要学生根据问题排序的写作练习,层层深入,使学生逐步学会用过去进行时来描述过去的事情。
二、教学方法
? 本课内容为学生比较熟悉也比较感兴趣的童话故事,其优点在于可以比较容易地引发学生的兴趣及学习的热情,缺点在于有的学生急于弄清汉语意思,浅尝辄止,不愿深入探究。应该扬长避短,以此为基础,充分调动学生学习的积极性。由于故事性较强,所以我采用了比较直观的教学方法,即多媒体视频与图画相结合,使课文内容更加生动形象,更便于学生理解。
? 在学生观看完视频后再进行课文疏通与讲解,并对重点短语与句型反复练习,使形与意相结合。在完全理解课文内容之后,可以进行小组交流与合作,根据图片,介绍故事的主要情节。最后进行交流与展示,并完成相应的实践练习。在课前让学生搜集有名的童话故事,并在小组内分享,看哪个小组找到的最多。

3. Show some pictures.
4. Look at the pictures, and talk something about the pictures.
Step 2 Work in pairs.
1. Ask the students to look at the picture in Activity 2 and say what you think is strange.
2. Introduce the new words.
3. Learn the new words.
4. Read the new words.
Step 3 Reading.
1. Play the recording and listen to the tape carefully.
2. Read the start of Alice抯 Adventures in Wonderland and guess what happens next.
3. Ask the students to read through the passage.
4. Read the passage by themselves.

You may find books like Alice抯 Adventures in Wonderland and Harry Potter very interesting but too difficult. Try to read simplified versions of the books you like.

(她偶尔看一眼姐姐的书,但书上既没有插图也没有对话。
once or twice的意思是“偶尔,一两次”。
例如:

插图也没有对话的书有什么用?”爱丽丝想。
What…for? 表示“有什么用,为什么?”

land on的意思是“落到……上”
例如:
The plane landed on the beach because of a thick fog.
由于大雾飞机降落在海滩上了。

七、教学反思
? 本课内容为有名的童话故事,学生很感兴趣,搜集的有关的资料也非常全面。可见,学生对自己感兴趣的话题还是比较乐意去学的。可以以此为契机,鼓励学生多看英文视频材料。毕竟,英语作为一门语言,只有通过大量地接触,反复地练习,才能够形成基本的语感,这要比单纯学习语法知识要有用得多。而且,通过观看英文电影等视频材料,学生可以更好地了解英
语国家的风土人情,提升自己在英语学习方面的素养。但是不要让他们盲目地去看,可以每周为他们精选一到两部英文经典影片,并鼓励他们背诵里面的经典对白,这应该是学习英语的一种有效途径。
